It's hard to get used to a robot trading your money after you've been day trading for awhile.. I have avery hard time not intervening on the exits even on a demo account.. But ya have to refrain & let the EA do its work on a demo

wave trailing will make it more profitable in the end result, but you will have to suffer much more massive drawdowns.

I've enabled Trailing Stop with these settings: 5-10;10-30;20-40;35
Stop loss: 0.1

Run the back the back test and see what you'll get ;)

p.s. Period of testing was from 2010.11 and test showed +20%

I just bought the license FGB and I hesitate between two brokers:
Thinkforex Alpary and UK.
I have an account Alpary UK. My VPS is in London so I prefer Alpary UK.
Who uses Alpary?

FGB does it's job. Nothing is wrong. But the markets condition is too unstable.

is it best to deactivate it

That depends on how much of a purist you are when trading EAs. If you are one of those people who believe you should never intervene....then no....you should leave it alone. If you are a more experienced trader, then you will have identified that the market is whipsawing and the FGB cannot handle whipsawing. So you will either find earlier exits, or shut it off until market starts trending again.

Agree. I personally switch off when there are no fundamentals release that drive the market and also when some speeches are delivered- these prone to whipsaw hard, like Jackson's hole these days :D

Otherwise logic is sound, don't forget we are in a summer market finally and nothing is moving, then may shut up on low volume and drop down like euro did last two weeks.
