Also a very good point. Since the TP is less than 15pips....using anything less than tick data renders the whole test invalid.

1,7% loss trades look very nice. I´ve seen many EAs for Forex, 99% of them are scam.
I haven´t seen the details yet (entry points), however, it looks really nice. The quality modeling isn´t as important as we think, 90 per cent is enough (because of slippage on real accounts, blackouts and so on). Even 99% differs from reality. That is why you need cca 1 000 trades to evaluate your EA.
Last questions:
1) Do you need to optimize this EA?
2) Did you use Adaptrade Builder (or something similar) to build it?

If an EA executes on every tick then a 99% backtest is best to show past perfromance . But my EA executes on every new bar therefore tick data is not needed. I did a 99% tick test on my settings....in the past few months....they netted around.....+15,000 pips. Is very hard to test my setup and get an accurate assessment though.
Oh yeah....today....16 trades, 2 losers (-88pips and -82pips)....ended with a net gain of +120pips. Another good day.

Haha... This robot is desperating. Its behavior is terrible, despite that in the long term is a winner.
Most of the trades that begin being profitable trades, finally closes with losses. Many times I can see trades that are winning 40...50...80 pips, but the robot wait more time than the logical indicate, to close finally those trades with losses

why every one sounds senseless.
vendor knows when and how to make changes .. im sure it will be updated soon coz every bot needs modification after few time to get it work according to market condition.
all you are talking make money with FGB now if market conditions are changed then calm down new update will be out (hope so very soon)
actually the entry of FGB is 75% to 85% correct just need some extra coding in it for trail stop, trend or support resistance checking..
im sure some of good traders are still using FGB with their external EA or manual conformation.
if you do simple setups like use it with trail stop EA it will give you good response and will not lose that much money and at the end you gain not lose..
its been already discuss 100 of times on the forum how to use trail stop ea.
just if you use external ea or do manual
then you must enable manual setting on FGB .. other wise you have to restart every time (thats why ppl face lot size issue)
actually we are unable to BT with two EA other wise i would show you the BT of FGB with trail stop EA>
or try to be smart like fughe and make your own setting with FGB.
i personally checked FGB with trail stop EA (long ago when 1st we face this prob that FGB entry is good but exit is to bad.)

Why this robot wait so long for to take profits? most of the profitable trades finally closes with losses. I think that the developer of this robot would have to improve that defect.
It is unacceptable to have so many trades starts being profitable but finally end being losers due to the bad strategy used by the developer to take profit.

Hehe it's amusing to see how many people have already given up on FGB as is. C'mon people, this isn't THAT bad yet! I'm guessing a lot of people have already stopped it on their accounts, now right after a drawdown period, just to miss out on all the profits that are just around the corner. This could be the perfect time to TURN IT BACK ON!
