Let's just say that their back-end office is not as organised as I prefer. I had no problems with trades placed, although I never used their VPS. However I am looking for a new broker.

FGB works Bar open. not each tick. Also TP is > 50 PIP so it can work with any broker and also can work from local. VPS is not necessey if your local stable and active 7/24.

Hello Steve. I wonder what's your experience with FGB and VPS at Thinkforex. Did you have issues or something else?
Thanks in advance!

Because it is Bar Open. it will have max 2-3 pips difference for trades that can come from broker slippage thats all. FGB is the one of the best and stable commercial EA for Medium Term.

Thanks Steve, my question should obviously have been more specific. I was looking for someone that could tell me of a broker they were using that gave pretty much the same results as Think.

2-3 pips difference can make a hell of lot of difference to the end result.
Looking at the stats as they stand currently we can see that out of 100 trades we would make ( please excuse rounding errors )
42 winners at 65.35 pips = 2744 pips
58 losers at 30.5 pips = 1769 pips
Total of 975 pips
Now, if we assume that we only ever lose 2-3 pips, which is entirely possible if the broker in question has a higher spread and a delay in execution compared to Think. Let's also assume a slight deterioration in successful trades we might have.
40 winners at 63.35 pips = 2494 pips
60 losers at 33.5 pips = 2010 pips
Total of 484 pips
Now, I realise I've generalised a fair amount here and played fast and loose with the law of averages but it just shows that a few pips here and there can make a large difference. In this case you would have lost half the profit that Think forex generated.

if you want to keep that pips in your pocket then work with ATC. they have instant execution not market execution.

But I think they have the minimum lot size of 0.1 with increments of 0.01. They are true ECN brokers.

It's interesting you mention ATC as that's the only other broker I've tried FGB live on.
Trading between 15/3/2011 and 5/5/2011 I lost 1% account balance overall whereas this account made roughly 20%.
