'Might' and 'if' don't bring any money to the bank, only action brings money to the bank.
The facts are the facts FGB has turned $250 into $4500. If you can do similar then feel free to sell me a copy of your EA.

My English es bad. May be that I am not using the correct words. If you have an EA that win only the 39% of the trades and loss the 61 % of them, you are not able to make large trades because if the first 10 o 15 trades result in losses your account can be easily blowed. But if you have an EA that make less trades but with an high reliability, your trades can be so large as 10 lots per trade and you can achieve a 1000 % in one month.
In that project I am working, but because I am not a professional programmer, the thing goes very slow...

In my opinion you should only risk a certain percentage of your equity per trade. As systems that win 99% of the time generally do so by having a poor risk:reward ratio then you don't win very much with each winning trade. If you can find a system that wins 99% of the time with a good risk:reward ration then you're a genius and deserve your money but I haven't seen a system like that to date.

I will use simple words. The winning rate is much less important than the number of pips in profit. Yes, FGB has more looses than winnings but the number of pips gained is THE MOST IMPORTANT! This is good because the risk/reward ratio is bigger than 150%. This EA looses around 25 pips in a trade and wins 60. Do your math. The bottom line is that the bigger but seldom profits exceed the smaller but often looses.
In long term this fact will bring you profits. Also, the leverage has nothing to do with profits if you measure it in pips, not in dollars. I hoped you would have known that. The leverage only affects the amount of money you can use for a trade. This EA now uses 0.15 lots which can never blow the account due to the small stop loss level implemented.

REMEMBER! A forex trader should calculate the risk and the profits in points or pips, NOT in dollars, euros or whatever.

What is the criteria that use the FGB for closing the positions? From some hours the price is in upward strenght , but the robot decided to close the trades instead of adding more positions...

1000% in one month, Woooow (another hyper-rich esquem) normally an ea with a 90% winning is 1:1 ratio or worst like most scalpers, your ea can blow the account in less than 2 days right?. In the best scenario ratio will be 1:1, if you set the ea with a goal (MM)of 250% in a week, in the wrong way could loss 100% in 2 days.

traders looking for the Holy grail normally endend with empty pockets first ;)

I have noticed that when I turn off PC, if the FGB has open positions, the MT4 loses the control over these positions.
This has happened to somebody of you? Somebody know if this account is working on a VPS? and the last question: if this account is working over a VPS, how does the owner of the account when the in the VPS cut their service? the positions are closing manually? Thank you to whom respond me

This is one of a few EAs that doesn't regain control of open positions when MT4 is closed. You'd be silly not to run this EA on a VPS. There is an option of what to do when reopening mt4 with open positions, close, leave open, or ask user.

NewHotness: Thank you for responding . Do you know a broker with VPS to recommend to me? I have my demo account running in the broker 'Think Forex' (the same that have this account of the FGB owner) but this broker (Think Forex) doesn't accept funds wired from the U.S. (I much would like know why) . For this reason I have to choice a broker in the U.S.

You need read FGB guide. If you wish EA control your posiition you need set Assign_PT_and_ST = true. But in this case you will loss some profit.

Eugene.

Actually NewHotness is right. He is talking about the ClosePreviousSessionOrders setting. It controls what FGB will do with open orders if you restart MT4. This has nothing to do with the Assign_PT_and_ST setting, which is just a broker-side TP and SL.

Assign_PT_and_ST = true and ClosePreviousSessionOrders = 0 and FGB will set PT & SL and do not close opened orders when MT4 will be restart.

My apologies for not wanting to read through 264 pages of posts but can anyone tell me if they are getting a steady increase of pips just the same as this mybook account? ...and if so what settings are you using the standard/defaults settings or something modified?

Thanks in advance :D

It says on page 73, 95, 129, 236 and 254! Read it!

Sorry I'm in a jocular mood today :)

I run FGB on Alpari UK, default settings and I get pretty much the same as this account. Sometimes more sometimes less. I'd do an analysis for you but at the moment I'm writing a website.

FGB can run on every brokers but difference in results. Low spreads is always good for EAs.

A few pages back I read it was broker sensitive, so I wondered if Pepperstone is one of the better or worse?
The spreads are certanly low, but that does not mean everything.

I never got any review of FGP on Pepperstone. I recommend ThinkForex for FGB, it performances axactly as Live Test account.

If you want to run on Pepperstone, please try with small lot first. Contact us, I will give you a free test, then please submit us your review on Pepperstone.
