the smart exit its closing the trade, just if the profits are over 40%... for me now it is on minus... i hope, that the EUR/USD its going down... in weekend.. that it is posible if you see the news.... 😄 they are publ. the CPI for the eu zone on monday morning.. if the CPI will be in lower level then the pron, then we are gaiming some pips.. if no.... ....... the first time, that i'm keeping open trades for the weekend.. its a rule...to always close bef the weekend.. dont trade on friday!;) .... 🙄

Here is how this stacks up with me. I buy this bot based on the performance and trade history shown here, only to find out that an upgrade to the Power version will cost $70. No worries I am told, the basic version is the same bot with fewer user inputs. No big deal, i dont need the Power version, right? Except, to make the thing take profits correctly, one setting needs to be changed, but that one is ONLY available in the power version. Even then, considering an upgrade, I find that the development is buggy and the vendor is closing trades manually, so I need to sit in front of my computer for hours so I can do the same? No worries, they are happy to sell me a signals service for $50 a month so my account can mirror theirs. My gut tells me this is somewhere between shady and outright Bait and Switch. Even if the signals service produced results, I am not sure I want to be doing business with this sort of operation. This all makes me seriously think of setting up my own page and bot combination on here and running my OWN signals service........

Instead of comparing trades why dont you all look at the monthly statement, i can understand there are some problems that we are facing (but the support are working and they got tons of emails and they have to reply some time it took time to get the reply but they do reply) but im very comfortable with the bot performance, if even you calculate the fxbook bot statement for this month still its in plus 150$ im talking about the close positions. and if you want quick reply then join their platform where ppl getting answer to their questions.

Wish you all good luck for your trades.

The team closed them before the weekend started, I use the trade copier, last friday they left two trades open over the weekend and it didnt go well so i think they have learnt their lesson and closed yesterdays before the market closed.

Now, let us be clear about what is clear:
1) the basic algorithm of the bot is not perfect, but its acceptable.
2) the market right now for the EU is terrible high in volatility, the algorithms of the bot arent made for it!
3) the vendor are definitely closing the trades MANUALLY, NO doubt about that!!!!
4) two things to do now: a) close the bot for now! b) sign up for the signal service!

I choose b BUT under protest, Im not satisfied with the vendor right now! There is no perfect bot, but thats not the case. The thing that makes me really irritating is that the vendor isnt honest about what is happening!! I get lies when I ask questions! Thats really sad, because thats him telling me that Im stupid. And maybe I am, not turning this bot off forever, but I will give the service one month.

This is NO perfect bot, but there is NO perfect bot for every market condition!!!! FGB- just be honest and say that! You would be much more trustworthy if you did!!

I agree with you, that no bot is perfect, like human traders. Everything is a question of probabilities ...... in forex trading ..... as well as poker for example. The challenge for a bot is to filter out opportunities which have bigger chances to win as to loose. And that is what FGB try do do, it try to detect reliable breakouts. And such breakout-systems needs volatility and FGB has good capabilities to detect them. But ....... to measure the strength of the breakout and to detect the loss of strength is quite poor in FGB, that means the exits are often too late. And this has for my opinion nothing to do with the market conditions, it is only the ability of a bot to cut losses as early as possible. Or in other words: if the probability to make more money decreases seriously during a trade the bot should close the trade .... like in poker......the bet is over.
But FGB has a high potential to make money with good settings and additional take profit strategies. Why I say this?..... Because you can test it on different curriencies with different settings...... and there is one common result: the detection of breakouts is always very reliable..... add a good take profit strategy..... to the features of FGB...... and you will make money on a reliable basis.
