It's had bad runs before. It will recover.

What I am more concerned about is receiving FGB emails promoting FX Phantom which on first inspections seems to be an appalling EA that is happy to risk massive drawdowns in order to win a handful of pips just to push up the win rate - a losing strategy if ever I saw one.

Now is the time for fgb to make profit. If one checks balance curve after every sequential loss big prits come or viceversa. I hope it to gain from that point and then to lose but less than previous gains and so on...

I didn't receive such an email, but it could been sent do spam box.
I know that it had bad runs before, and as enjoytrade said, analyzing the graph it should recover right now. I'm just afraid, because i've experinced already few systems which finally crashed and never recovered so i don't want to see it happening again.

We have turned back to the same value than six months ago. This is very disappointing....

The last loses have a bigger impact due to the increase of lot sizes. In case of a trending E/U, the regains would be fast. Again, there's nothing wrong with the EA. After every trend, a period of side moving is a must. Users with brain and experience should stop the FGB until a new trend is in development.

I wonder how you can retire with this EA like others suggested 😁.

Oh sorry, I didn't mean for you. No, it's not easy for you.
1. Technical Divergences on 4H charts. Confirmed for E/U, it's a fairly sure temporary bottom.
2. Strong chance of bullish reversal patterns/candles also on 4H charts. Confirmed - take a look on June 01 around noon.
3. Fundamental stats of eurozone + statistics regarding the wining trades of FGB. It's a far better chance for this EA to win on shorting the E/U than going long. FGB lost big time because of countertrend trading. But as human beings, we should use our brains.

pianosso in your opinion now FGB will start to recover?
Honestly i also expected it to go down, because it reached it's highest balance yet. But i just joined in, so i didn't want to interfere.

I don't expect anything. Should choppy price action continue, the loses will go on.

If I'd change anything in settings would it trade in other way? The indicator shows more buy/sell allows than the script trade.

howdie - i recently loaded FGB (all default settings) and experienced trades on my demo account that are not appearing on FGB myfxbook. so i reloaded using THinkForex (there preffered broker). I am using a VPS and again all default settings and the VPS has been running - i.e no intervention of any kind (not even exiting mt4 etc). Again I have picked up a trade on 7th June not showing in FGB myfxbook. FGB says this is not unusual due to different broker speed etc altho i find this a little odd - i would expect to have less trades than more trades. i am not comfortable with this however, reading thru the various forums etc FGB does have its own set of peculiarities so just want to get a take on whether others experience this? or just me!! thanks for sharing your experience... much appreciated. Don't worry, mine trades differs a bit too. For example, now i have only about 20 lossing trades, while FGB got one +10 or +20 pps (i dont remember) in this part. I already lost some other trades, but i got 2 more trades at the beggining...

I know that if we modify parameters that come by default, we should improve the performance of the FGB in those moments when it starts with a losing streak, but I can't recognize in the graphics where are those critical moments.
I have browsed the historic charts of the EUR/USD , and I couldn't find the pattern in wich it is necessary making the changes in the settings.
I suspect that the developer of the FGB also couldn't; otherwise he had improved it in a new version of the robot.

all i can say there must be some logic to this madness. like every x weeks after making xx trades you stop it.. and then kick it off again :)
