How can this be?? Even the lousiest commercial EA does recognize open positions after a platform restart nowadays...

this what the support said

<b>If you restart MT4 while a trade is open, Forex Growth Bot may lose control over that trade
once you re-open it back up, thus it may be ideal to close or monitor any open trades if this
occurs</b>

there is also procedure to prevent this you can find it on the manual comes with FGB.

<b>ClosePreviousSessionOrders (All Versions)</b> This option ask you to close out trades if MT4 restarts.
0 – Will not ask to close.
1 – Asked to confirm then close.
2 – Automatically close on restart.

that's true when it comes to real money trading.. I run EAs in demo and untouched mode on VPS for months/years before even thinking about going live, to get the bugs, if any.

This is what this vendor obviously have missed to do.. that's why so many of his clients still struggling.

This is just unprofessional business IMO.

The only one which made for sure a lot of money with this unfinished product is the vendor.

Most of the (complaining) clients here dont show their BIG live accounts with truckloads of profit on it.... why???

Im waiting to see the fast getting rich trader community here😝

Hi pc8multifx,

You can check in my pages on https://www.myfxbook.com/members/messidona/ghsv21-gbpusd/84481
I used FGT in those account mix with another EA, you could check the comment, It is real account although i haven't made any withdrawal yet, but you could check on the history that there is some deposit line item which demo unable to do.
Demo account couldn't have more than one deposit.
You could sort the trading history by Pair and will find EUR i traded with FGT
So far FGT have did great things and proofed by it's result. Some bug might still need to be fix but it is normal thing in development.

BTW pc8multifx, maybe be if you have a better EA or system better than FGT, you could open it on your pages with viewable historical and open trade.

My Setup is a VPS with an Acount from AAAFx (Demoaccount but in a few days live)
On this Account, I have 3 EAs running

-) First one is FGB Basic Edition and standard Settings

-) The next EA is the Compuforex Trail Multi. This trailing EA from Kenny has nice Options like %Trailing, etc. I'm using the default settings, but be careful if you are using a 4/5 digit Broker choose the correct Pipsvalue 20/200 eg.! Another thing is the SL in this EA. Kenny gave his EA an automatic SL, so if a trade is started and the server crashes, he has a secure SL, which I've set to 45 Pips. The 45 Pips, because FGB is always under this Pips value. One Time it has been higher (about 51 Pips I think), but as I said, it's just a safety setting. So FGB can do his job ;)

Hi dungl,

The compuforex trail should automatically compensate for 4/5 digit brokers as well as 3/5(2/4) digit instruments. If it doesn't, that is a bug. Please can you let me know if you have experienced any problems in this respect.

There is at least one minor issue that I am aware of and that is a modification error 0 (which is annoying but not serious), that shows up under some configurations.

Regards

Kenny

Hi Kenny,

sorry my mistake, it was the wrong Trailing EA. Compuforex trail works as you said 4/5 digit brokers. I had the wrong EA in mind :)

Sorry, but that are too much mails I'd have to send, so
here are the links to Kennys EAs (hope I'm allowed to post that Kenny)

Compuforex Trail https://www.donnaforex.com/forum/index.php?topic=3193.0
and the Trade Sender https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=236011

As I said, all 2 EAs are from Kenny. Would be fine, if this could be implemented to FGB ALSO in the Basic Version...

One Problem appears with the Mail EA (since today): If it opens a trade, it sends an Mail. If the Trade is closed he cannot send an Mail. Having problems with the Error Message 'Mail: 451 See https://pobox.com/~djb/docs/smtplf.html'

My VPS Provider is Host Europe and I'm verry happy with them. Good Performance and small price

Regards
Dungl

Dungl,

I want to try out Kenny trailing stop EA. How can I set this up with the FGB so that it works correctly ? Thanks for your help in advance.

Don't worry, it did very well (+980$), business as usual since 20 months 😀

I'm surprised after all this time you are around and literally nothing to show us on your mfb page...
