Hi

Eugene sent me an email on the last update, telling me that they are about ready with their 'Trade Replicator'. This will allow you get the EXACT same trades as their system here (not withstanding slippage etc), if that is what you are looking for:-

'Also a status update on the signal service:

We have the software ready to offer trade copied signals for anyone

interested, we are setting it up so users can set it up through the website'

Check it out 😄

Happy trading

Graham 😎

PS This EA is 'Long Term Trend' strategy. Why is everyone complaining about poor performance in a 'Ranging Market' if you want a scalper then look elsewhere 😉

I think this resumes everything.... not all trades will be winners, but in the average, you should be winning.

I have set a demo account on Alpari UK, started with USD 500, trading the bot agressively, 0,1 lots, and from 2 weeks know, running the Trailing Stop EA that kenny shared before, and right know the account is over 100% profit in less than a month.

This demo doesn't take the same trades as Thinkforex account, but still a winner, so even if you don't get the same trades, you should be profitable

Hi,

I just started running this EA and noticed this discussion. Could you kindly direct me to the post to download the Trailing Stop EA (shared by Kenny) that you mentioned? Thanks.

I got different trades than this. I even got different trades within the same platform and broker.

That is until my broker Jade FX got shut down by the CFTC last week, now I get no trades 😁
An event that for me highlights in big bold letters as tall as the sky the problem of dealing without a stop loss. Traders with Jade have not had access to their trading accounts for nearly one week now. The liquidity was just cut and open positions left to fend for themselves. Those people with trades without stop losses could conceivable be bankrupt by the time things get sorted out. Fortunately I was flat in the market when this happened, however let this be a warning to anyone trading without a stop loss in the market. You never know what is going to happen with the regulators, your broker or your platform.

i agree Steve... for that reason i use trade protector ea.. the ea sets 50 pips sl to each trade of growboth... it doesn't affect the trading method but saves the trades in case the ea can't close them or any failure occurs to the terminal or vps
it would be nice to have this security sl programmed in the ea...

So you are not running the basic edition .. which are you running and what are the settings ... should I make the upgrade?

I am running the basic edition in my real account, the one I have log here.

And for the Alpari Demo I'm using the basic one as well, but trading agressively 0,1 lots for a USD 500 account. Just that at the same time, I'm running Trailing Stop EA to control the trades that turn winners into loosers.

My settings for the trailing EA are:
SL start at 30 pips, and placed 70% retracement from current price, with a limit set to a max SL of 50 pips.

And as far as I've been able to test, after Trailing Stop EA sets the SL, and executes, there's no effect in the FGB, because it keeps trading regularly, kind of similar to ThinkForex real account. Maybe there's no problem because it's running on different charts as instructed by kennyhubbard

And for those asking about the link to download kenny's EA, here's the link to his post:

you can download the trade protector 1.2 ea from here:
https://codebase.mql4.com/6057
i am using this settings:

log >> 0
initialsl >> 500
trailingstop >> 5000 (set it large in order not to trail)
threshold >> 5000

the others are default

these settings are for 5 digit broker... for 4 digit brokers divide by 10

Not a problem, always nice to help others.

BTW I was wondering who is the person in th forum with the longest teesting time for this robot.

I've been live since 10 th february on my real account... no previous demo whatsoever, but followed carefully Eugene's live account, and reviewed his statement finding and acceptable R/R to throw myself into the water with USD 500.

Thinking on adding extra USD 2000 to get the FreeVPS at Thinkforex, where Eugene is running his account

Anyone using it, live or demo, for a longer time, on different brokers?

C'mon guys, don't be shy, this is the way to help each other

I am demo testing with IBFX Australia, and seem to get all the trades as shown here, slight exception on a few trades where I get in +/- 1.0 pip. The amount of pips won/lost match exactly though.

I have just started a live account with TadawulFx. Today (Mar 8), I had my first trades, however, I had only (2) trades on the TadawulFx account as opposed to (3) on my IBFX demo account and on the account shown here. Again, the number of pips gained matched.

Is anyone using Alpari UK live account with similar results as shown here?

Hope that helps

I am using FGB in my IBFX AU mini account and trades are very similar to this account. The # of pips is a little different and last week my account didn't open some lossing trades. I don't know why. I am using it in an aggresive way and between monday and tuesday it gained $180 in a $1250 account.
I believe that this really is a Long Term Strategie EA. Some days will be good, others no. Some weeks will be good, others...no. And making some backtests with this EA with 90% modeling I saw that some month can be very good and other month....really no...
I trust this EA and I want to use it for a long long time. I hope the autor and the website support will exist for a long long time too.
Happy trading to all and...good luck.

Top right hand corner click Custom Analysis > set your start date then you will need to click the Pin to set the default start date. Click Analyse.
