I think default settings are better, less profit but less drawdown, more conservative trading

...anyway...FGB is one of the best ones actually...maybe we can improve it a little bit with 'ManualTradeControl=true' and a second trade-manager-EA like Swiss Army, if we are not able to sit in front of the screen all day long ;-))

...just check it out on demo or with very small lots live.
I have set 'InternalControl=true' and 'ManualTradeControl=false' but I also use Swiss Army to set a safety SL to -50 pips.
I dont use any external trailing stop, because FGB does a good job ;-))

oh, a little bit closer then my wish EA. this EA won't open a trade, only modify the existing trades.. still searching free EA that can order the opposite way each time FGB make any order. would any one ever know this EA?

wait, at ver1.51, there is setting to open the hedge, curious the mechanism. if it open opposite way after FGB order, it should be 2 winning trades, first from swiss army, second from FGB :)

You said you set the manualtradecontrol=false..
i think to use other EA or do any thing manual we have to set it to true..then other EA or manual work things properly.

can you tell us what setting you use for Swiss Army EA..
it looks like a good thing that can be very profitable if we use it with the FGB.
please let us know.
thank you

Is there a possibility to test two EA at the same time on backtesting ? I want to test FGB with Swiss army EA.

If an EA needs hedging or martingale, then the trading-logic sucks...the entries of FGB are a bit late sometimes - but they are good - they catches the trend mostly. It´s not easy to find settings, witch catch the trend earlier. As I mentioned before, I use 9,69,1.7 actually. Here are two screenshots - one of mine settings and one of the default ones:

I feel if we set

40tp
40sl
or use entry as sl for FGB
using help with Swiss army EA

We can get more success

because FGB not open order that straight goes on negative
it 1st go to plus then close in negative.

and by adopting this method we can minimize the loss ..and get stable profit ...
Note: stable profit not big profit as FGB do..

Please comments..

As far as I know...testing is possible with one EA only...I´ve never heared of something else.

I think, if you set 'ManualTradeControll=true' then FGB enters a trade and does nothing else...so then it´s up to you to manage the trade...the main advantage of Swiss Army is, that it is possible to trail in negative...so you can try out this in forward demo:
'TrailOnlyProfit'=false' with 'StopLoss=500' (50 for 4-digit-brokers) and 'TrailingStop=300' (30 for 4-digit brokers).
Then FGB has enough space to breathe and you can catch big trends without setting a TP.

That was too quick...you don´t need the SL if you trail from negative...so 'TrailOnlyProfit'=false' and 'TrailingStop=500' is enough.

well yes it really is a very good Idea.. it only open trades if FGB goes on negative. and if it goes on positive then no need to trade.

thanks btw i ask about the image .. which one is yours..
the one with the bigger profit?
