I have abandoned standard configuration FGB long ago and running Power Edition with custom built setting lately.

I think u need to review your broker spread and trade latency. I'm on 2% risk setting- December I am up 23% so far. My modify time is 242-405ms. Spread 0.3 on ECN stp, FIFO.

If I had run this on my own computer, latency is about 2200 ms. Which I often get stop out with small loss. My precious vps- forexalive, was also total garbage n I kept getting the 'warning' notices in debug. Now no problems

well... not true.
regarding your internet connection and the distance to the server, your PC can perform better than some VPS solutions.
I have a vps provided by my broker, and the latency is higher than my own PC!
around 50ms while I have 15 to 20 ms from home.

and a list of some latency...

latency > 20ms is considered slow in my opinion.

if pending orders are used you won't see a difference between 5ms and 50ms. over 100 ms will be felt.

Go make your own bucks. Don't rely on other's hard-work/ talent. No body is forcing you pay the USD99.

Why do people have a problem with not wanting to pay someone for their work?

as I get informed MT4 build 400 and over is pushing CPU much more then older versions. this can not be fixed with additional memory.

that can effect your VPS performance.

Loss after loss after loss, November was bad..... December is kicking ass in the loss department.

[][][][][] Can't wait for the new year!! [][][][][][][]

Wish this Christmas and New Year thing gets over with quick because it is boring when the markets are closed!

Love making money when this MDP thing works right, now that's fun you can take to the bank.

November and December were pretty bad for most trading methods based on trending (FGB) or mean-reversion (MDP) strategies. However it was possible to trade manually position-based. But not for faint-hearted, as setting any meaningful stop loss would result in stopping out on constant episodic volatility. So the key is adaptiveness and modest leverage in these times.
