Professor53, I have finfx ECN trading another ea. It's not great broker on live. Just demo is great -- fake money. So I wouldn't trust it with MDP.

Professor53, FYI, IBFX does not have low spreads like you claim, here is a link that shows the most of the top brokers and there average spreads for all sessions, and you will see that IBFX is way down the list. https://www.mt4i.com/spread/symbol.aspx?symbolid=11

Of course Think Forex and Pepperstone are not on that list, but I can assure you that they both have very low spreads and very fast execution, and would probably be in the top 5 for average low spread.

Its so unfortunate that you US residents have to put up with US brokers and all of the BS NFA regulations like FIFO, and in case you didnt know, most brokers outside of the good old USA cannot and do not open accounts for any US resident.

I am in Canada and have the choice of any broker that I choose, but will not open an account with any US broker because of all the NFS bs.

Any one one know of live finfx accounts under 2k are slower than big accounts , especially if using MDP ? Is this true or not? Do the speeds slow down for smaller accounts?

You just change the symbol to EURUSD at the top of page, this average spread set up is for most pairs, and it just happens to be set to the USDJPY pair but all you have to do is change it to the EURUSD.

I dont need to look at his statement, because I already know that IBFX does not have so called low spreads, and this MDP EA needs low spreads and a VPS to get the maximum performance out of it. That doesnt mean that you wont make any money with other brokers than the ones that MDP lists on there web site, it just means that you will not get as many trades which equals less performance. :)

agree, as every one know that its a good scalper so it require low spread and low time execution brokers.. its better to run that on ECN account. im getting almost same trades on my desktop system that because my broker is quick to response with low spread .
even im using simple cent account on my desktop system last friday i got 30plus trades and the vendor account got 40 plus trades. if i open ECN account on my broker and use their vps then i got almost the same result.. after testing it on my desktop system i will share the statement and open ecn account.
the latest ver 1.6 is stable and can be easily use on any low spread broker.

It is a 'real' account, but it is demo. NOT REAL money. Search myfxbook for MDP and you will find a list of 'real' accounts under the column Type. After entering MDP on search, click on Systems. Then focus only on Real accounts, because demo is a joke.

Pakfx, did you get 16 trades from today which is sunday?? After doing some research on Pepperstone & Think Forex, I have decided to go with Think Forex as my new broker. So I got 6 trades on my Think Forex demo about 3 mins after the markets opened today, and with a $10k starting balance the 6 trades made $1335.00, with the risk set to 2%.

I was in front of my computer when this happened, and these 6 trades all opened up so fast, and then closed so fast it was mind boggling that all 6 opened/closed so fast. The average execution time is showing up as 321 ms, and keep in mind that the spreads were and always are pretty high after sundays open.

I got 14 trades i know the spread was really to much high. and i also know that its a game of couple of sec.
its my desktop system with latency 150ms you can compare the time execution as well. its also high but i got good results. also im using it with default setting with default risk ratio. nothing changed.
see the image.

Real account performance at thinkfx is different from this MDP myfxbook page.
I asked for refund and it still in process. MDP admin ask me what is the reason of my refund, i just told them that the performance is different between real money and demo account. And until now no proof from MDP for their real money account.

The problem is, You must prove the performance is bad to get a refund, you must be prepared to get real losses for 60 days. The amount of loss you than have, I much more than the refund. That is the snake pit.

Anyone know what's 'avg open slip' & 'avg close slip' stand for?

I use vantageFX and it shows avg open slip:15 and hence it turns off the 'Use_stop_order'...

Today was a very good day for forex trading. Im sure the thinkfx and finfx had lots of trades, but my ibfx on my vps had about 25 plus with fifo turned on. which means I could only do one trade at a time. I still made almost $100 today on that small start up of $380 2 weeks back.

Tested speed on FXDD Malta: between 250 and 400 ms, average just under 300, so it's fine I guess. Spread on EURUSD is between 1.8-2.2, average 1.9-2.0, but you can find a rebate IB with as much as 0.7 pips rebate which makes it 1.1-1.5 spread net, which is great as there are no commissions.

I just started with MDP on FXDD but had no trades so far.
