-> to prof and the others from ibfx: you are using the us version, has anybody experience with the au version. are the servers also in the us and looped via them in the grid?
i've tried IBFX AU, their server in US east coast. I use a NJ server, gives very very low avrg execution time, but still I lose money. I suspect their spread is too wide. Gave up after 3 losing session.

Hmm....FinFX times are good...avg 400ms. Still on the losing side though. MDP had some warnings against using the stop orders and hard trailing today, so I have deactivated those. Will see what happens now.
Make losses, but always come out a winner at the end.

I'm still learning but isn't the best speed obtained with the VPS as close as possible to the broker & then we are dependant on his execution.. which we can't affect..
😑
perfect you got it. also slippage is another fact you should consider when choosing your broker and adjust the settings of mdp to your broker by trial and error and by reading these posts. a lot of different settings have already been discussed.

so it seems like IBFX is quite good with this bot but they are not an ecn/stp brokers, seems to be more like a market maker...
regardless I've tested alot of brokers and most of them have processing times of under 1000ms and sometimes 200ms but at the times when MDP trades it seems to create a bottleneck of orders due to perhaps so many other traders using the same EA and the fact that MDP trades during fast market movements (spikes) and high volumes increasing the chances to re-quotes, queued orders etc etc.. which ultimately leads to delays...
after reading alot of these posts it seems that a broker that may have been very good to start with has now fallen behind in processing performance along with all the other brokers as more and more people jump on the bandwagon with MDP.... having said that it still seems to be profitable even with execution times in the 1000's of milliseconds...

do not fool, get the daily turnover on fx... compute all of the traders that you know, multiply by 100 or 1000 or 10000, get all of that in volume (by lotsize), and you will see... it is just nothing to that daily volume
well, the conclusion is....? :)

I don't know what your conclusion is. I just know most MT4 broker servers are NOT prepared to handle these enormous amounts of mdp orders, all at the same millisecond arriving. That's why at least 50% of the traders don't have success with this system.
