Hello Gilga,
the minimum deposit depends on start lots and ac. leverage. We provide detailed information about in the user manual.

How does the EA deal with economic news?

Hello Leroy42,

PowerFlow comes with built in news filter. It allows you to specify how the EA should deal with news and how long before and after news trading should be halted.

Hi,

If I had a micro account (1 lot=1000 units), what would be the minimum to have to run all the available charts? Also, you stated before that this system does not offer money management, so How do I know when to increase my settings inorder to utilize compounding?

Hello askew8, on a microaccount one lot is 1000 units. Recommend min. start balance is in this case 200 USD or equivalent in another currency.

1:50 but a higher leverage is of course better.

200 $ or equivalent in another currency. (EUR, GBP etc...)

askew8 posted:Also, you stated before that this system does not offer money management, so How do I know when to increase my settings inorder to utilize compounding?

It is very easy. All you have to do is to adjust lots by 50% after the EA gained 50% profit.

So if I were to have 200 in an account, what would the opening lot size per trade be? And to manage the money, would I just increase that lot size per every 200 earned?

Hello askew8, the opening lot size (start lots) will be between 0.01 and 0.04 (depending of the currency pair).

Yes, that's correct.

G'day folks,

I bought this robot not very long time ago and discovered interesting result that I like to share:

After installing the robot, I received excellent help from the Forex21 team on how to setup everything including receiving the New AUDNZD file which had to be replaced with the default AUDNZD.

The overall trading technics of the robot is promising, but there are major issues in my opinion:

- After setting up my demo account ( $1000 with Lev. of 400:1 ) and installing the robot I discovered that the robot started to trade immediately ( after 10-15 min ) on the AUDNZD chart with high lots - 0.4 or 0.67. I immediately came to this page to check forex21's account about this trades, but I couldn't see any trade!

After contacting Forex21, I was told the FTP server hasn't been updated and in fact there are trades ( After re-checking I could see the trades :) )

# To forex21 : Please make sure your FTP client is synchronizing with Myfxbook, I understand because of different brokers there is a chance that some of the trades will not execute for some or for you, but it gives a clear indication that our robots are working and have up to 95% accuracy in executing trades.

- My biggest issue with this robot was the high trading lots! In less than 24 hours I was $-821 and 3 of my AUDNZD positions were stopped due low margin, and eventually I was left with just over $100 in my account this morning :(. This is just a disaster....
Having a close look on Forex21's account it shows they have a cent account which shoes a big number. My trade size was exactly the same as theirs, but having just only $1000 in my account. This makes my risk and margin requirements 10X higher than theirs. In the user manual of the robot, the starting lot size is exactly the same for both cent and micro accounts. I think this can't be right because obviously having a $100000 cent account with a starting lot size of 0.5 is not the same with a micro account with just $1000.

I decided to change the starting lots from 0.1 to 0.01 for the AUDNZD and 0.2 to 0.02 for USDCAD ( I left GBPUSD unchanged at 0.04 ) - I will post my results shortly after few trades.

# To forex21: Don't you think the starting lot size needs to be changed in the user manual? as I mention earlier, I lost all my account in less than 24 hours with the default settings.

# to Forex21: As I mentioned earlier you send me the AUDNZD manually via email. Are the rest of the files ( GBPUSD and USDCAD up-to-date that was provided in the installation pack?

PS: I'm not here to criticise or giving bad impression about forex21, My intention is to give correct feedback about the robot that can help both Forex21 and us ( clients ) to improve the performance of the robot.

Vahid,
Thank you for your feedback, we highly appreciate it.

To your questions:

As some preset files include multipliers with decimals, we would not recommend using 0.01 value as a start lot, because all next levels may still be opened with 0.01. In this case it is better to use 0.02

The recommended starting lot values from the user manual correspond to the initial starting balance and the account type. If you are not comfortable with default start lot value, you can use set them to the minimum - 0.02

Yes, gbpusd, usdcad remain the same.

Thanks for your reply. I have changed the AUDNZD to 0.02 and left GBPUSD as 0.04 and USDGPB as 0.02.

One more thing that concerns me is the trades displayed here ( Myfxbook account ) vs. mine. I can see trades ( approx. 5-6 ) that don't appear on my MT4, but are currently active on here or vice versa. For example my robot never has opened any trade on GBPUSD yet, but there are several new trades here.

Could you please explain why this is happening? I'm just concerned by not having similar trades like yours would cause different results for me.

Thanks

The EA does not use a fixed value for spacing. New trades will be placed within a predefined range when the price is oversold (buy) or overbought (sell). With start lots of 0.01, the total DD should be not greater than 20%.

Sorry forgot to mention my AUDNZD trades look very similar to your 3rd account that is only trading on AUDNZD, but my USDCAD and GBPUSD ( GBPUSD \had no trade so far ) aren't the same.

Thanks
Vahid
