The EA has the ability to set fixed lot sizes so you can control it. They recommend .05 lots for 10,000 at 500:1. At 50:1 you need 10 times the capital (50,000) or lower the trade size to .01 lots for every 10,000. Why bother?
If you're going to trade EA's you have to start thinking like a real trader and get the hell out from under the Dodd-Frank 50:1 thumb in Amerika. FinFX out of Finland has 300:1 available on any account size if you ask for it. ForexFS out of Australia has 400:1 on any account size. For smaller accounts, Trades Way has 500:1 up to 5 grand. If you think that the US gives you security in their promises of broker registration, and segregated accounts, you are sorely mistaken. Ever hear of MF Global and Perregrine Financial?
This may sound scary but it really isnt. It's quite easy actually. I have migrated from personal overseas accounts to establishing an offshore entity so I can have access to premier brokers like XM markets from here in Amerika. It takes an offshore business entity and offshore banking but it is worth it. I've even converted USD's to open accounts in Australian Dollars so I can have some money outside of this shit USD paradigm.
Good luck to you.
Hi Ken, I couldn't agree more, but you seem to be off by a factor of 10, from page 7:

with a 500$ account, what lot size should i use to get results similar to yours?
Thank you.
Hi Ilyezz
with 1000$ Account you have to trade 0.05 Lot .

I agree with the offshore account . . . if they are going to go that route, I recommend an offshore account held by a foundation in a second country at a minimum. An even more bullet proof set up is an offshore account held in a trust in a 2nd country held by a foundation in a 3rd country. Also, always go with nominees.

I don't think I am off, actually. The question raised was regarding trade sizing on an account with only 50:1 leverage. I believe Empires's recommendations assumes 500:1 leverage. If you don't have the margin than you need more cash or reduce the lot size. And at 50:1, you need 10 times more cash (500/50) or 1/10 the lot size.

Ken

I agree with your analysis at 50:1, but you said:
They recommend .05 lots for 10,000 at 500:1
They recommend .05 lots for 1,000 at 500:1. At 50:1, it would require 10k.

You are correct sir! I was intermixing what I was trading (.5 lots for 10K).

Could you guys set me straight again. I am opening an account with FinFX and also have a US broker account.
Is this a trade copier or is it hosted on Profit's server?
What is the recommended lot size is it .05 per 1,000 @ leverage of 500:1?

Be careful with FinFX. I am currently transferring from them. They will give you increased margin, if you ask for it. Unfortunately, when you need the margin, they reduce it back to 100:1 (for your own good). It happened to me. I lost half the account in order to avoid a margin call. FinFX will also liquidate at 100% margin. Their execution is good and they provide a VPS on a pro account, but if you can't trust them, they are useless.

Use Vantage FX UK, this is the best out there. it grants leverage upto 500:1 easily and it is an STP BROKER.
secondly yes, for $1000 at 500:1 leverage the lot size is 0.05 lots.
thanks

these guys r just brilliant at everything, most importantly TRADING. :-) ;-)
That is the glee of inexperience. While I commend Profit Empire for doing a great job in managing their trades, I hope they don't let all these accolades go to their head. Keep up the good work. Get cocky though, and the markets will hand you your head on a platter.

Question: Is there anyway possible that an account with 200:1 leverage can use the ProfitEmpireRobot?
The reason being is that the forex broker failed to mention US accounts are not accepted.
So, could I engage a 200:1 leverage account with a higher starting minimum balance and a setfile with a lower lot size to mitigate
the recommended 500:1 leverage?
Thanks in advance.
