You are not talking about facts as long as you cant show at least live transactions from any trading system, making 15/20 percent a month is absolute rubbish

yes, you are correct. I can't claim this as fact until I show the results. But I don't chase for 15% to 20% with 45% equity protection for my own accounts because my targets are much higher than this.

But if you or anyone has a 10K LIVE account with a good broker with good spread, then just send me the login details and I will set it up my system for free for 1 month and you can see by yourself whether it is achievable or not what I am saying. I will publish it in my myfxbook profile.

Why 10K? Because in 10K the maximum lot size is 0.01 lot.

By the way, you can see the performance within a week. I will use same 45% equity protection and same target 15% to 20% per month.

Sorry. A small correction for my above post for 2,000 USD the maximum lot is 0.01 lot. So if you have 2000 USD with a broker like either pepperstone or Priorfx, then send me the login details.

This is just to show the performance of my system and hence, the account has to be new account , not a old traded account with past histry.

Well so you were not making 20/30 percent a month, you lost in the end.... so hardly worth bragging about.

There was liquidity to escape, but not for bigger positions in 1 go, and 400 orders would have had 400 diffrent rates

According to my calculation trying to recover the entire loss from this system again may take at least 8 to 10 months if the same monthly return will sustain.

Hi All,

Brief update although absolutely nothing new to add to what has been said already.

PriorFX are still yet to provide any answers and have only suggested they're about to now that investors have complained about them to the regulator. Clearly, they have something to hide.

Two key issues remain:

1) *Access to the market was denied*, this the ONLY reason there was a stop-out in the first place.
Comments suggesting otherwise are just plain stupid.

2) It appears PriorFX did not stop out investors correctly at 45%.
If you are one of those investors affected you should have already made a complaint to the regulator.

One small piece of new information, I'm taking a break. When I resume it certainly won't be with PriorFX.

Few investors in this thread argued previously that 15% per month can't be achieved with 45% equity protection with a similar system where as in our system we have used 30% protection only and it already achieved 16% in this week. But obviously it uses high risk.

Investors in this system can have a look into our system in our profile for verifying the above fact.

not true. you exposed the account way too big to GBP. Have you seen the long long list of open trades ? Besides buying GBP after brexit is plain stupid.

There is no need to run from one broker to another broker chasing for 5% a month with 45% equity protection. It is absolute non sense.

If investors are seriously looking for 5% a month, then exactly same results can be achieved with 5% monthly return guaranteed every month with maximum 10% equity protection and we can do that. But it needs 20K or 30K minimum starting balance. That's all.

i studied how the EA trades, it avg after about 42 or smth bars, then uses some kind of position sizing grid.

overall, i must say that system was good for a few years.

But since last year, we saw CHF movements 20% non-leveraged, and it happened again for GBP this year twice!

Any system will bound to fail.

Imagine this, non-leverage can be 10-20%, what about leveraged? if using 1k account, trade 5k units already margin called.

That's why overnight and weekend positions are prone to such gap and risk.

stop loss is not even guaranteed for weekend trades or high impact news

Personal observation:

On 2 occasions: Severe drawdown due to grid trading----> Trades close in loss.

Trader has 2 options;

1.Spend the next few months recovering profit...... but would do so at no personal gain (high watermark rule)

2. Change broker....and start profiting immediately as high watermark rule no longer applies

In each case trader blames the broker, chooses option 2, and the sheep follow him to a new broker and continue to pay his commission, despite loss.

Sorry for the cynicism, its my impression
