Full SL with two trades open could be 220pips. I calculate with 0.1lot per 2k$ thats 11% max risk or 5.5% per trade.
Choose a risk which is comfortable for your account size so that you can withstand a possible drawdown.

best regards
Mark

I've got 0.5 lots on a £4k account. Remember that VTP TC often opens two trades, so factor that into your risk decisions. So I might have 1.0 lots open at once.

Look in the VTP manual page 5. For a $5k account, low risk is 0.5 to 0.9 But decide your own risk settings and understand them. Many in Forex will aim to risk only 5% of their account. So as Mark above states, what would a 220 pip loss do to your account? It's better to take smaller profits and grow. Rebuilding an account which has lost 50% is much harder and slower.

Patience. I hope to recoup VTP costs within three-six months and then profit. If I get 20% profit in the year, that's great by me.

Doug Price(vendor) refund directly and no problem, but he will e-mail you to confirm if you really want to refund.
before i refund vtp (this ea the fist month in public) and keltnerpro(in bad time),both sucess refund.

and i buy back the vtp(copy trader version) last month,it's a really good product till now.

No need for refund as there aren't any faults. Steady, consistent profits. If you just like the thrill of seeing your account click up (and down) profit on a daily basis, this is not for you. But if you take a longer term view there is no reason to need a refund as you'll be making profit.

The only scenario I could foresee is if your account size is so small it is going to take you a very long time to recoup your investment. So maybe Doug should / could state this is best suited to accounts with £$amount +. I started on a £2k account and have since put that to a £4k account so I can increase lot size (last week I made about £250 profit with VTP). This has been a quieter month due to volatility. If you're on a $100 account this might not be for you. But if you can only invest $100, Forex might not be a sensible thing for you anyway.
