Hey guys!
SWIFT QUESTION: I red somewhere that the vtp is switched of during 'big news days'. Isn't this the case anymore, or what? Other users of the vtp have made losses during news while the master account was switched off.
Grateful for your comments/thoughts.

I dont know how doug decide to switch the trade copier ea off or on. Gladfully he let it run while we had those news today who closed out the last trade in profit. Imho he didnt allowed to enter a new one on gbpusd or eurusd before the news came out today.

Just for the record, during the copy process I'm losing about 1.5 pips on each trade, which, with the average win around 11 pips, comes to about 15% less profit. And this so far on a demo account. I'm getting ready to go live. Wonder how others are doing with the copy process?

Hi edwardopp. I am getting the same returns and slightly better in most trades. Occasionally I might get a couple pips less, but it will all depend on your latency and broker spreads.

That is a very interesting question for those like me that are interested in buying this robot/signal.
Is the slippage really so 'painful'? Is the EA still available (as I guess it would avoid that kind of slippage...) for selling?

very well. most of the time i have slightly better results than vendor. maybe you should change broker / vps setup and check your results only on a real account. demo results are useless.

I'm also getting same returns or slightly better on most trades, but only been since 27 Jul. No significant loss, in 4 trades (that I didn't manually intervene) the pip difference was 0.3 0.1 0.7 in my favour and one at -0.1 against.
Hope this helps? Cheers

I currently am demoing VTP at FXCM-UK, with mt4 on my home computer. I'll soon be going live, and setting up a VPS.
Slightly better results, that's great! Interesting, which broker do you use, and which VPS service? Edward

Hello, pmargetts,
You're also getting slightly better results than the vendor, congrats!. Might I ask you, which broker do you use, and do you use a VPS service?
Thanks! Edward

Hi Edward,
i am running FXPRO UK with CNS UK VPS and can recommend this combo.
CNS as VPS provider and FXPRO UK as a real good broker with FSCS insurance of your funds.
BTW:
After Alpari UK crashed we all got our money back from FSCS.
A broker without FCA is a no go for me.

you can check out my progress in myfxbook @ xBot_VORTEX

Just a minimum of logic to understand that someone who has an ea that actually works will never sell it and still less will manage client accounts. So deducting for what you want on the people selling 'the holy grail of ea'.

By the way, I've made a special tool for EA analyses. If you're interested, I could send you a copy of my VTP analysis. Maybe best by email....

Good trade today by Doug again.
Question guys, do you have slippage on this trade? Its closed during Asian time, but yet I have a 5.2 pips gap on the GBPUSD. Anyone experienced the same thing?
Used Synergy ECN, same as VTP. Using high speed internet and good coms instead of VPS.
Anyone using VPS has the same exact result as VTP?

hi Javien,
I had a 1.2 amd 1.3 slippage today; that was the most I've had to datebut only been signed up for ten trades.
Does anyone know Doug's strategy? So far he seems to be buying at the tops and selling at the bottom; each time a sma cross would have been more profitable? Just be nice to know exactly what's in the black box.
Trade Well
