Big news and requotes

I don’t think that the impact of news can be ignored completely. Whether you trade long-term or intraday, it’s true that your currency positions will be affected by the forex news. It’s important for every trader to monitor all the related news and make market decisions in accordance with that.
Steps to Mental Success in Trading

Managing thoughts and keeping up with every day trading is very difficult, to be honest. I have a fixed time to meditate everyday while trading. This keeps me somewhat sane when I trade. The best thing about forex is that it’s easily manageable since the market is up and about 24 hours. These days I’ve been working on some demos and Ecn. Tried some decent platforms for it (hotforex, fxview) and I’m looking for more. Oanda seems okay and I’m thinking about opening a demo with them to check. Am I on the right track here?
Brokers and true ECN brokers

Different brokers offer different trading conditions. It is up to you to decide what you want in your broker. For me, hotforex and fxview work really well because of their tight spreads and low trading costs. I hardly trade more than 15 pips on hourly timeframes and for that it is absolutely important for me to use brokers that provide lower spreads, at least on the most liquid currencies.

Can’t agree more! Wide spreads leave nothing with the broker, I just recently made fresh accounts with hotforex and fxview after realizing how much I was losing on with my previous brokers. Ultimately it is only about commissions and spreads.

For me it's always to do with withdrawals. Wherever that seems to get tacky, I prefer to switch. Currently using Ameritrade and Fxview. So far so good!

Start small, but enough that can actually give your trading a thrust.

If withdrawals are a problem, chances are that you have been scammed. From next time onwards, use only a broker with a credible history of withdrawal processing. Try Fxview or XTB. These are European brokers I’ve been using without any withdrawal or order placement hassle.

Yes it’s always best to devise your own strategies. But as a beginner it’s understandable to copy more seasoned traders’ strategies.

Yes, that’s true. A good broker won’t ever restrict you from applying various trading techniques with scalping, supporting, etc. I also prefer the kind of brokers that offer easy to use trading platforms and fast cash withdrawals without causing any hassle to the traders. That’s the reason why I use TD Ameritrade, Fidelity, and FxView most times and I am decently satisfied with the returns I am making with them. I have made the most profits with FxView. Thanks to their tight spreads and low commissions.

It’s a great way of ensuring that you don’t lose what you can’t afford to. Never forget to use Stop/loss when trading.
