El Salvador GDP Growth Rate YoY
A total of 66% of El Salvador's GDP comes from the services sector, which includes internal trade (14% of GDP), real estate operations (8%), public administration (8%), finance and insurance (7%), and education (5% of GDP). Industry accounts for 27% of total wealth, with the highest proportions going to manufacturing (18%), construction (6%), and utilities (3%). In addition, the agriculture, livestock, forestry, and fishing sectors account for 6% of GDP. Among the components of GDP on the expenditure side, household consumption accounts for the largest share (85%), followed by gross fixed capital creation and government spending (16% each). Exports of products and services account for 28% of GDP, whilst imports account for 45%, resulting in a net loss of 17% of total GDP.
