Faroe Islands Inflation Rate YoY

The food and non-alcoholic beverages category accounts for 20% of the total weight in the Faroe Islands consumer price index, followed by housing and utilities (18%), transportation (14%), recreation & culture (11%). In addition, miscellaneous goods and services account for 8% of total sales, furnishings and domestic equipment at 8%, and clothing and footwear at 6%. Also included in the index: communication (5%), alcoholic beverages and cigarettes (5%), restaurants and hotels (3%), and health (2%).

A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the DKK while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the DKK.
