Finland GDP Growth Rate QoQ
While services account for 65% of the Finnish economy, manufacturing, particularly in the wood, metals, engineering, telecommunications, and electronics industries, is a critical sector. Among the expenditure of the GDP, household consumption which accounts for 55% of the total is the main component, following by government spending which accounts for 25% of the total, and gross fixed capital formation which accounts for the remaining 20% of the total. Exports of products and services account for 38% of GDP, while imports account for 39%, a 1% discrepancy between the two figures.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
