Germany Markit Manufacturing PMI
Based on a survey of 500 industrial enterprises, the Markit/BME Germany Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index gauges the performance of the manufacturing sector in Germany. Five individual indexes are used to calculate the composite index, with the weights as follows: New Orders (30%), Output (25%), Employment (20%), Suppliers Delivery Times (15%), and Stock of Items Purchased (10%). The Delivery Times index has been reversed so that it moves in the very same direction as the other four indices. A value above 50 indicates that the manufacturing sector has expanded in comparison to the previous month, a rating below 50 indicates that the manufacturing sector has contracted, and a reading of 50 indicates that there has been no alteration.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

German Exports Decline As Tariff Treats Damp Demand From US
Germany's exports declined for the second straight month in May due to a sharp fall in demand from the US amid tariff threats, data from Destatis revealed on Tuesday. Exports decreased by more-than-expected 1.4 percent month-on-month in May, following April's 1.6 percent fall. Economists had forecast a 0.2 percent drop. Imports slid 3.8 percent from last month.
