Ireland GDP Growth Rate QoQ
Trade, manufacturing, and investment are the cornerstones of Ireland's economy. The country is a significant high-tech manufacturer and exporter of pharmaceuticals and software, and it is one of the world's largest pharmaceutical and software exporters. Domestic consumption, which accounts for 44% of GDP, is the most important component of GDP, followed by gross fixed capital formation (19%) and government expenditure (17%). Net exports contribute 19% of total GDP, with exports accounting for 114% of total GDP and imports accounting for 95%.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
