Housing (26% of total weight) and Food (25%) are the most important categories in the consumer price index in Tokyo, followed by Culture and Recreation (10%), Transportation and Communication (10%), Fuel, Light, and Water Charges (6%), Miscellaneous (5%), Education (5%), Clothing and Footwear (5%), Medical Care (4%), and Furniture and Household Goods (3%).

A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the JPY while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the JPY.
