Macedonia Balance of Trade
Macedonia exports a variety of items, the majority of which are supported catalysts with precious metal or precious metal compounds as the active agent, ferronickel, iron and steel products (flat-rolled products), clothing, and petroleum oil preparations. Macedonia imports a variety of goods, including crude oil, platinum and platinum alloys, automobiles, and electricity. Germany, Serbia, Bulgaria, Russia, and Greece are Macedonia's most important trading partners (44% of the total international commodity trade).
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the MKD while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the MKD.
