Mexico Foreign Exchange Reserves
Foreign Exchange Reserves in Mexico are the foreign assets kept or managed by the central bank of the country. Usually, gold or a specific currency are used as reserve assets. Additionally, they can be special drawing rights and marketable securities denominated in foreign currencies, such as treasury bills, government bonds, corporate bonds and equities, and foreign currency loans.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the MXN while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the MXN.
