Portugal Inflation Rate YoY
Inflation in Portugal is defined as a wide increase or decrease in the prices that consumers pay for a typical basket of commodities over time. Housing, water, electricity, natural gas, and other fuels are among the most important categories in Portugal's consumer price index, accounting for 10.3% of the total weight. The topmost valuable categories are Food and non-alcoholic beverages (20.8%), Transportation (14%), Miscellaneous Goods and Services (10.4%). Restaurants and Hotels contribute 8.6%, Recreation and Culture account for 7.2%, and Clothing and Footwear account for 6.9%. The index also consists of categories such as Health (6.3%) and Furnishings, domestic equipment, and everyday housekeeping (6.2%). The remaining 9.4% is made up of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, Communication, and Education.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.

German Factory Orders Log Bigger-Than-Expected Fall
Germany's factory orders declined more than expected in May on falling demand from both the domestic market and other euro area economies, official data revealed on Friday. Factory orders decreased 1.4 percent from a month ago, Destatis reported. Orders were expected to drop 0.2 percent after an upwardly revised 1.6 percent rise in April. Orders declined for the first time in four months.

Eurozone Private Sector Expands More Than Estimated
The euro area private sector expanded more than previously estimated in June as both manufacturing and services sectors registered higher output, final survey results from S&P Global showed on Thursday. The HCOB final composite output index advanced to 50.6 in June from 50.2 in May. The reading was well above the flash estimate of 50.2.
