Switzerland KOF Leading Indicators
Switzerland's economic barometer, the KOF Swiss Economic Institute's gauges business leaders' optimism about the economy's performance and their organization's prospects. The KOF economic barometer is composed of three components. The 2014 update includes 219 indicator variables that are weighted statistically. GDP is the most important category since it excludes the building and banking industries and accounts for more than 90% of Swiss GDP.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the CHF while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the CHF.
