United Kingdom Business Investment QoQ
Investment by private and public enterprises in the UK is defined as a net investment. Transport, information and communication technology (ICT) equipment, other machinery and equipment, cultivated assets, intellectual property products (IPP, which includes investment software, research and development, artistic originals, and mineral exploration), and buildings and other structures are included in those investments. Excluding central and local government investment, investment in dwellings, or costs connected with the transfer of non-produced assets (such as land).
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the GBP while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the GBP.

UK Halifax House Prices Edge Up In April
UK house prices rose only marginally in April as rising interest rate expectations weighed on the property market, data published by the mortgage lender Halifax showed on Tuesday.
