Regarding EA robot, do you think high profit or low DD is your first chiose

We have a system like that, but the drawdown on most accounts is higher than 30%, only two so far sub-20%. We also would choose with moderate drawdown, but with current settings and trading pairs sub-20% can be barely achieved, especially when aiming for higher-than-1% profit per week, and volatilit...

The fallacy of Martingale/Grid systems

Same here, it's not the system that matters, but the approach and methodology used to trade it. And, by the way, martingale is not the same as grid-based system, besides multiplying position sizes they have nothing it common.
