Developer has worked in the financial markets for 30 years. He has worked in a number of technical roles supporting banking systems including roles as Head of Technology for UBS Australia and AMP Banking. Since 2012 has been working to develop advanced technical trading algorithms in retail foreign exchange and continues to develop and improve mathematical models.

EA’s or systematic algorithms are efficient in executing rule based trading approaches. The inherent problem with ‘set and forget’ running of EA’s is that market conditions do change and algorithms sometimes are unable to adapt to the changing market regimes which can result in losses.
Orchard Forex believes the combination of machine (EA / systematic trading) with careful instrument selection AND market regime analysis can result in far greater profitability than just running EA / algorithm.
