He has worked in a number of technical roles supporting banking systems including roles as Head of Technology for UBS Australia and AMP Banking. Since 2012 has been working to develop advanced technical trading algorithms in retail foreign exchange and continues to develop and improve mathematical models.

EA’s or systematic algorithms are efficient in executing rule based trading approaches. The inherent problem with ‘set and forget’ running of EA’s is that market conditions do change and algorithms sometimes are unable to adapt to the changing market regimes which can result in losses.
