Eurozone Private Sector Stabilizes In June
The euro area private sector stabilized in June after two months of moderate decline, final purchasing managers' survey results published by S&P Global showed Friday. The composite output index registered 50.0 in June compared to 48.5 in May. The flash score was 49.5. The stabilization reflects growth in manufacturing being offset by a further fall in services.

Eurozone Inflation Eases To 2.8%
Euro area inflation slowed to a three-month low in June as food, energy and services prices registered slower growth, easing pressure on the European Central Bank to hike interest rates again this month. Inflation weakened to 2.8 percent from 3.2 percent in May, flash data from Eurostat showed Wednesday. This was the lowest rate since March and remained below the forecast of 3.0 percent.

German Inflation Softens In June
Germany's inflation eased for the second straight month in June as the pace of increase in energy prices slowed, flash data from Destatis showed Tuesday. Consumer price inflation dropped to a four-month low of 2.3 percent in June from May's 2.6 percent. Economists had forecast annual inflation to remain unchanged at 2.6 percent.

Eurozone economic confidence improved more than expected in June as tensions in the Middle East eased, survey data from the European Commission showed Monday. The economic sentiment index rose to 95.0 in June from 93.7 in the previous month. The score was forecast to improve to 94.3. German consumer sentiment is set to improve in July driven by the moderate rise in income and economic expectations, latest results of the NIM Consumer Climate powered by GfK showed Thursday. The consumer sentiment index rose to -29.2 in July from -29.7 in the previous month. However, the reading was weaker than economists' forecast of -27.8.
