I totally agree with you Fughe. Some people just want money handed to them on a plate! For those of you who haven't bothered to read the membership sales page and are concerned that William will not continue to provide updates to non-members here is a quote from the sales page: "I will continue to release updates and improve the robot for everyone, but now I want throw in another opportunity a unique membership, a limited and exclusive membership."If you don't agree with the membership then don't join and your life will stay the same - it is just an extra option open to y...

The exclusive membership is optional, nobody is forcing you to join. You will still get updates to MDP if you do not join. Personally, I have joined. :)

I also have the UJ version and I have just looked at my stats and it has done very well. Since the 1st Aug I have made 711 pips with 78 trades, 53 trades won with a profit factor of 6.6. Not bad at all! (default settings)It does trade at the same time as the EU version but I think it has also traded by itself.

Fughe - I thought you had found a way around FXOpen's slow execution times - does your method not work anymore? Also, did you set SO = 2 with FXOpen?

I always thought ECN brokers made money out of commissions. I must have been mistaken!

Interesting - thanks for the info. So if the num orders level is high does that mean the entries are made when the Market is moving very fast, so slippage could be a problem, and when the level is 0 entries are made when price is moving a bit slower?

Ok - Thanks for the reply. So it is always better (unless you like risk!) to reduce the num orders before reducing the additional channels?Maybe I need to run a backtest to see what the exact difference is!

Hi Fughe - I assume that you are recommending setting the NumOrders_Level to 0? Also, why do you suggest setting the Additional_Channels to 8? Just curious. :)If anyone knows the difference between NumOrders_Level and Additional_Channels other than what is stated in the manual then I would like to know. I have been profitable with this ea but I still don't understand the difference between these two settings.

Because any technical questions get passed onto his programmer.

I have used this ea since it was first released and it does place pending orders. William is not the programmer of the ea. I am not sure why he is saying it only places market orders but it absolutely does not. It places pending orders a pip or two just below a big move up or above a big move down so that it can catch the retracement. The answer to your two questions in your email should be:1. Yes2. No:)

MDP places Buy Stop and Sell Stop orders. It may close the open position by using a market order but it does not open a position using a market order.

Any ecn or stp broker that allows pending orders to be placed within 0-2 pips of the current price should work well with this ea. Personally I use ThinkForex.
