There are stops and stops, loong stops, short stops, mental stops, some amazing automated trade mangers that use stops,I used stops today below last weeks low, had to be a way a lot from screen, even for demo but decided so much risk is worth and coldly walked away, none stopped out the few hours it took me to realize it is not my day and closed all at once, kind of a stop also, I am bad with traditional set and dont move stops, mainly lock in profit with them, probably something I should Un-learn , automation helps some at least me.I like what Hicham Nejjahi is doing, I need to do the "...

LOL, just open a demo and play around, learn as you go, some find it difficult and some newer learn, no use studying it for ages before you try it and maybe find out you dont like it

You don't, but your loss will be appreciated by others.sharpiemomo mentioned having a edge a few post up.PMO The edge comes from a sound strategy and some experience, don't need 2 much experience or knowing fancy words, but it does include sticking to your strategy, that includes being able to pick good entry and exit points, taking the pips that are given, and good RR or MM which ewer you want to call it.

The OP did not ask about this but still. This is a great hobby, I dont understand when someone says you cant be good at this if you take it as a hobby, i sail for a hobby, race sailboats and do great in ranking, if I did not know how to sail even after years of practice should I join a professional team, no. If I liked sailing but newer got good enough to race and be in the top should i stop sailing as a hobby, no of course not, if i continuously broke my boat, crashed it into the piers or rocks, should i stop sailing, probably.

I agree, just had 32 consecutive wins and then I lost 2 in a row, got over confident maybe, well the second loss was a revenge trade.But still learning, blew a 100k demo, then a 200 EUR live so here I am humble trying to figure how to rid emotions with this demo, + some risk management as that would help with my under confidence in open trades, exit 2 soon.Basically I am over confident entering and under confident once a trade is running in the green.Hope i learn as really want to do a live account again.
