Having the banks falsify their results, Moody's tipping off the major banks of an impending debt downgrade for Greece tends to catch all off-guard. But such anomalies don't last for ever. We need to discern between historical events and repeating patterns when trading forex. Greece lying about the debt/GDP ratio of 14% resulted in the Euro crashing. A forex manager runs say 100 EA's on 100 real accounts, the probability that at least 5 of them will make money is very high. On these clients they take an excessive 30% (way to much, 18% is more reasonable) because they know that the trading pattern won't last because the market follows a random walk. Wtih myfxbook one can selectively only upload those sytems that work on EA and not tell us about the losing accounts. For this reason not even a real trading account means anything, only a live stocktwits.com account. The three systems listed are for only three months, which proves nothing. 12 months down the line, they will all be in the red according to the laws of probability.

It is known as survavilist-bias, there is not a single EA that will generate a positive return moth after month for an extended period of time (at least 12 months), which is also why the MT4 trading contests don't prove anything, the two month period is to short. Out of hundreds of EA's there will always be one or two making money in this two month time frame, but let the EA run for 12 months and it won't work anymore.

Another point is that for those firms running PAMM accounts, their trading statements to myfxbook.com must clearly be marked as such. Myfxbook.com has now such a large profile, reputability and clout with mbtrading, alpari etc. that I can't see why Alpari won't provide such information via mutual consent to myfxbook.com. Such a PAMM account will have lots of deposits and of course a reasonably large equity. As far as I know there isn't a single PAMM account on myfxbook, we only have real accounts showing 2000% gain but with an initial deposit of $500 or similar meaningless amount ...

Your broker is hidden. If the account is with mbtrading, fxpro, alpari or fxcm then indeed your results would be good, but if your broker is sitting in a basement running a cracked copy of MT4 server edition over a satellite link from Kazakhstan, then 400% would be meaningless.
