XM Donates €5 Million to Aid Cyprus Wildfire Recovery Efforts

Global investment firm XM has announced a €5 million contribution to assist with the recovery and rebuilding efforts following the devastating wildfires that swept through several regions in Cyprus. The fires caused extensive damage, displacing residents and leaving widespread destruction in their path.

This financial contribution is aimed at addressing both urgent needs on the ground and supporting the long-term restoration of the affected communities. The allocation of funds will be guided by a comprehensive needs assessment, carried out jointly with relevant authorities and based on thorough site evaluations.

“We are deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the wildfires and stand in solidarity with the communities affected,” said Stavri Morti, co-CEO at XM. “Our thoughts are with every individual and family impacted, and we are committed to supporting both immediate relief and long-term recovery efforts with responsibility and care.”
