Been using it for 6 weeks now and doing REALLY well. But I did throttle it and limit the pairs and lot size heavily. But very, very happy with it.

Wolfy, I don't quite understand the question.
What I see in 'Blessing' is that it using Martingale, but in its own - advanced way.
However, the way it is placing its trades, I mean timing and direction - is crappy.
So, what I am saying is this:
- utilize 'blessing' money management technique
- direct it with you own analysts
and it should make you 5-20% monthly profit I you do not change YOUR methods.

Example of my live trading: https://www.myfxbook.com/portfolio/crazyivanib/157163
Deposit 2200
Initial trade 0.01 lot or $1000
Multiplier 1.1
Most important setting is Longs only, Shorts only, or Longs and Shorts.
All last week I was 'Longs only', so all week it was opening and closing 'buys' with $5 profit per trade. Results +$50 for that week.
Now, assume for the moment that I let it trade by default.
I am not sure which way it would open its initial position - long or short.
The problem is - if it opens 'buy' and it happens to be in the wrong direction the EA will continue buying gradually increasing position (risk) until:
a) it finally closes all positions in profit or,
b) it is forced to stop trading and closes all position with loss of 50% of the deposit.

As you might know, Martingale assumes 50-50 chance. So, by lowering the initial lot and multiplier one can increase the time a player can stay in the game while unfavorable results are prevailing. Also, if you are good at technical analysis and can spot a trend, you can pick which way it should trade, thus you tilting the chances from 50-50 to something like 70-30.

By the way, I stopped the EA three times last week, because my analysis and indicators were telling me that trend is taking a break or it is ending, so I stop the EA. After situation cleared favoring the continuation of the trend I restarted the EA with Longs again.
You got to drive this EA just like you are driving the car. Red light - stop, Green- go, turns, bumps etc.

Only experience and a lot, and I mean A LOT of testing, including forward testing, can determine how you can change its settings to meet your expectations.
Cleverness needed when you create something new. With 'Blessing' you just need a calculator and common sense.

Hi Nassim

So basically, from what you have written, you just select either 'long' or 'short' or 'both'. Got it.

Thanks for the detailed reply,

   Hello all.
I just want to say that:
As with anything, you need to know what you are doing.
It seems that using EA 'Blessing' is like driving a car. And like with the car you need to know how to drive. When you do - it works.
The goal: move from point A to point B = make money
The means: speed, to get there faster (faster= more dangerous) = make more profits, more profit = more risk.
The method: GPS, maps, word of the mouth, view of site etc. =technical analysis.

When you are on the road and the road is clear, you steer your car and accelerate. When unclear - you stop, find directions even go backward. I hope you understand the simile.

I find the 'direction' (trend) using my own methods; I am sure everyone has his/her own ways to analyse the charts. And I simply tell EA 'Blessing' which way to go; modifying its settings helps to set the speed (profit/risk). It is just that simple.😄

Example:
_ph.terraimpera.com/10-12-2011%2012-34-54%20PM-s.gif_
I 'set sail' last night. While I was sleeping EA made most of the profit. And the next morning I got to stop it, because EURUSD went into overdrive with 235 pips, which is a bit too much for the daily range. Besides, my daily plan is done.

Good luck to all,
Sarkel

Nasim, how clever do we have to be to 'change/alter' these EA settings? I'm new at FX and MT4. About 6 months experience.
