#XAUUSD 4hr tf we see price is hovering near term resistance with a rejection wick signaling a strong resistance at 2720..on 1hr ltf show bears are stepping in the bullish momentum seemingly ceeding.if 2720 fails to hold price might test bearish OB 2733-4..otherwise it a sweet spot for breather pullback on recent low 2686-7

Fully agree with you....it will reach the 2,605.24 low and possibly go even go lower

if i had got your notification earlier i would have advised a minor scalp buy on our demand area @ 2644.6 with take profit @ 2665 /2670 area as we see asian session has bee dominated with buyers
but be on the sell side in new york session targeting bearish order blocks on higher time frame..as we are following the trend trading from previous lower highs attacking lower lows..

Nice! I traded this on the short side to that H4 level there. Recently started trading Gold after trading cryptos I like the way it behaves.
What are looking for next? Are you looking for that low to break or are you looking for a trend change and waiting for longs here?

since yesterday i've been in the stands didn't take any trade although i would have taken us30 short because of bearish sentiment followed by textbook price action of lower lows and lower highs.
back to your question ..i do trade classic supply and demand with structural elements of SMC..
GOLD has been on a massive downtrend since thursday open until yesterday where we see 2644 mark which serves as a resistance turned support area ..that did held over yesterday asian and london session peak of 2654 but receded down on new york session closing at range structure 2652 low time frame.
price has 78% retraced from thursdays peak on 4hr..with no clear indication of whether price would reverse but higher chances of retesting previous week low of 2627.5 if we break latest previous day low..so short are imminent
proceed with proper risk management i advise 0.1%-0.25% of your account to target 2/3 RR
for longs you want to see price breaking previous lower highs for clear indication of market structure change t target the next lower highs.
