Hello traders, I was looking for a post to see people who trade in Gold but I could not find any post that brings people together to talk about the subject, which seems to them that we started publishing signs of those who are dedicated to trade in Gold here ?, with a brief Description of what your strategy is.

Gold is mega bullish central banks keep cutting rates no one want to hold their cash in banks so think about you self economic crisis come us soon come in recession stocks make new highs and us china war ongoing so no reason for gold down trend however gold take some deep correction to 1440-60 before fly to mega bullish but I advise you stay connected with news thanks

The trend is clearly bullish, but in the meantime the key is to continue buying and also making successful sale tickets while gold continues to rise.

I am the 5 month rookie Algoritmic GOLD_ONLY trader ... 2 years from Today I will have 2 plus years of a track record.
And 9 years from today ...I will be a 10 years Veteran trading GOLD.
my advice is simple : do not listen any advice I/we will be randomly wrong or right.
start looking into Program trading. Machines do much better then humans.

I think gold is currently under pressure because the dollar is bouncing. The dollar index (DXY) seems to be supported by the 50-week moving average. $1480-$1484 looks to be a major support level for gold.
I've noticed several analysts are calling for a further decline to $1440-$1460 but I don't see it happening. There's strong momentum on the weekly chart. So I don't seem likely to me.
DXY posted a bearish engulfing candle for October so I do think rallies will be sold. But the other thing weighing on gold is strength in the equity markets. I'm not going to try and call a top there.. but as long as that strength is there, it might be tough to see upward momentum similar to that of the summer.

As a trader that trade in highly volatile pairs, Gold and Oil is number 1 and 2 on my list, while GBP follows, and please if you are not experienced do not trade Gold or other pairs I just mentioned, this are volatile pairs, instead you can stick With EURO/USD or USD/JPY, Regards.
I do Technical Trading and based on Pivot points, Supports and Resistance. No news trading .

I disagreed with you that machine do better than humans in trading, but I'm speaking for myself anyway, I'm a manual trader for decades, only what machine does for me is plotting my Pivot points, Resistance and Supports.
Note I'm a career trader and don't see reason machines will trade for me when I can do better, sometimes when people see my trading stats they thought its robot trading, but when they come by to my trading station, and see what I'm doing is actually manual, they got baffled. But if you feel anyway you can or use EA better, its your choice though.

I quite agree that robots cannot beat manual trading, speaking from 11 years of failure with EAs.
Now I manually trade the anti-correlated relationship between USDJPY/XAUUSD, and EURJPY/XAUEUR. The inverse correlation between these pairs helps to predict the likely direction of each pair, as JPY and XAU are often seen as safe havens when compared to the USD.

Hey there, gold has been a rocky ride lately, see how it picked up over the weekend. In the last week it has gone from 1470 to 1570! 6 year new high, so looking good for the yellow stuff... I did not get the long trade on this as my conditions were not met.

Gold comes back to the 1555 zone as risk appetite invades the financial markets. However, if the uncertainty persists with the coronavirus, the price of the precious metal may rise again towards the 1600 zone.

Following the $50 approx fall in the price of XAU/USD from $1592 on 3rd Feburary to $1547 on 5th February, from Thursday this week (6th February), gold has begun an upwards trend on hourly. On the 4 hourly this commodity is still very much sideways. On the weekly, however gold is very much bullish and has responded well after a 'spinning top' candlestick was formed after the first week of January on the weekly timeframe. Zooming into the 5 minute timeframe, I would be eyeing longs on gold if price is able to make higher highs and higher lows whilst making support at $1573. Target price is $1590.

Gold finds a support zone around the 1555 level and it has been very volatile with the coronavirus, but there is no clear trend. Just a consolidation with the 1600 level acting as a possible resistance again.
