I don't spam at all but when I see this topic being said I know manage funds, let me laugh because most of the accounts are young or demo account statement. it makes us more than 3 years we manage the funds.

Managed Accounts - just what is the purpose of a managed account?
Lets assume you have £10K and you want to hand it over to someone to manage for you. Unless you are extremely well off then surely you want to make sure that your funds are not subject to extreme risk. In a nutshell risk and reward are measured in relation to the returns you get on a risk free investment. This is the opportunity cost (in economic terms of doing the fx trade)
This could be a main street bank account as the £10K would be covered by FDIC (US) or the FCA in the UK. You then would amass a small amount of interest. This could be deemed a risk free account. Now in the UK you can invest £10+ in a tax free ISA and get aout 3-4% per year with no risk.It beats inflation but its pretty boring!
But if I had the proverbial £10K the guys offering me to only risk 50% of my AUM would scare the crap out of me.
Yes we can all appreciate a good return but the primary concern of any money manager is the preservation of capital not its obliteration. Some of the postings on here are not money management suggestions - more like betting tipsters.
Maybe we should start a new topic - called have a punt on this model :)
From a manager's perspective - a draw down of 10% should be the limit. Also a manager should be telling the client to use a little leverage as possible. IT is simple to get 50-100% in any month - 100% is 100 pips are a gearing of 100:1. But you need to be aiming to get 2-4% after fees per month for your client - that is an attractive and achievable.
The art of money management is something that needs to be viewed over a number of years not in one of two months of posted data.

Unfortunately if it sounds too good to be true - it almost certainly is...
Making consistent profits in FX either by manual or automated methods is exceedingly difficult and most will fail.
I spent over 2 years trading FX manually after a career in banking - I documented by trades - every one for that period including the use of a dicta phone. After that I have my own thoughts and reasons for entering very trade - nearly 5000 of them. Some of them made 3 pips and some 150 pips and many lost.
Only after studying my notes and recordings did I try to form the basis of an algorithmic system. It has taken a further 7 years and it is still only 80% accurate. It applies of 16 different trading styles covering market entry and dynamic money management. Does it cover all market eventualities - of course not. Could it be improved - probably but no matter how many more years I spend there is no such thing as a perfect strategy. There is just an acceptable rate of return and an acceptable risk... Nothing more.
You need to be completely comfortable with any strategy you adopt - typically EAs tend to be fairly simple and as such it is almost impossible to find one that will b successful over the long term.
Even my automated strategy is watched all day every day and there is always the possibility of manual intervention should the market perform in an unexpected way.
These are just my thoughts
The FX market can provide a living - even a good one - but it is not a winning lottery ticket
The higher the gearing the sooner it will all come tumbling down
As an alternative to bank interest the FX markets can provide a good return.
As a speculation over the short term the FX markets can do well - but a good Blackjack system can do as well.
Set you goals at a max of 20-30% per year after fees an you are much less likely to be disappointed.

The way I look at it is that as with anything in life, only the top few percent are successful, the majority are un-successful. I did have a conversation with a person involved with a forex broking firm some time ago and he gave ratios like this; 1% make seriously good money trading, 2-3% make ok money, 20% break even and the rest end up blowing their account. It is the harsh reality.
In the meantime system brokers out there have the standard website showing a luxury house with exotic cars in the driveway - every now and then you see a hot girlfriend/wife. It is all crap and have tried a few of these in the past with no luck. Now we get these aweful binary options systems promoted everywhere you go! aarrggh
Why people go to the lengths to scam in here is beyond me - we are all on a journey to trade for a living and should not be trying to fleece other traders. I agree with @Inari - if it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.

Never do individually managed accounts , There are too many excuses for the manager to tell you why your performance is different than their main account. Many excuses can be valid too such as copier latency, different pricing and markups compared to the manager main account and of course broker execution if the broker is different .
The best way to truly be a part of someones trading is via MAM that is published.
In our MAM all the all sub accounts share the same fill prices and commissions because they become part of the balance as they join. Published below :
