Beginner in forex

Hello, my name is Rodrigo and I made the decision to learn the world of forex.
I am quite curious why the person who introduced me to this world sent me directly to this page since I do not understand how I can open a demo or real account to start trading.
Sorry if I sound ignorant in those aspects but I have no experience in this type of platform.

The most common platform is MT4 ,so first choose a reliable regulated forex broker and open your demo MT4 account , they will help and show you how to use platform to trade . Since I am based in Melbourne Australia , my 2 forex brokers are IC Markets and Go Markets.

The traders who are particularly beginners for all time fall a great loss by taking high leverage due to non-sense planning and zero risk management policy . so, it is more appropriate to acquire proper risk management policy before using high leverage . actually from all trading elements leverage is one which always contains too much risk.

It is always good to start on learning what forex is all about..take the free courses learning from babypips education, investing.com, tradingview and more...just do not go for any paid courses.
From that..you can then start using demo account from any broker to make the consistence profit....then you can start with live account.
Mind you, it might take you more than 6 months, maybe 2 years, as long as you are capabale of learning and understanding forex much in long term.

Welcome to this forum Rodrigo. You will be able to learn from trader's discussion here. And yes, do open a demo account and start practicing asap.

it is great difficult to make profit by pin bar strategy for the beginners . as a newcomer that’s why now I am comfortable with scalping that brings profit in a short time than others trading techniques.

You have made good decision to start trading Forex and now want to learn it. It is a great place to learn and get advice from seniors of this forum. Also, a demo account will be helpful to get practice and experience. Hope you enjoy your trade.

Honestly speaking, I have never found at any guys who takes forex as a simply hobby and also profitable from here. Because if anyone takes this market place as a part of hobbies , he or she will not be gainer . because men are not willing to grant more hardworking and dedication in their hobbies which is more appropriate to get maximal result in Fx.

metaquotes is the developer of both Metatrader 4 and 5, no need to find a reliable or unreliable broker to open a demo, just download the trading software from them and it will walk you through the process of opening a demo while it installs.
From there you on your own on figuring out how to open a trade, its not hard, go long or short and see what happens, exit the trade if it seems to be a loser and hold on if it is wining, play around, try stops and take profit functions and dont worry about loosing, its just a demo, you should be able to figure out the basic trading functions in a few hours.
After a day or 2 if you think this is your thing you might want to read up on risk ratios, some basic patterns as channels, 123 etc, nothing fancy at first, if you still interested there are sites that teach you more.

The OP did not ask about this but still. This is a great hobby, I dont understand when someone says you cant be good at this if you take it as a hobby, i sail for a hobby, race sailboats and do great in ranking, if I did not know how to sail even after years of practice should I join a professional team, no. If I liked sailing but newer got good enough to race and be in the top should i stop sailing as a hobby, no of course not, if i continuously broke my boat, crashed it into the piers or rocks, should i stop sailing, probably.

Do not worry about opening a demo or live account. First you need to learn about trading. There is a lot to learn so be prepared

LOL, just open a demo and play around, learn as you go, some find it difficult and some newer learn, no use studying it for ages before you try it and maybe find out you dont like it

hello sir. i'm new trader too. try to learn a lot but it's hard. i have a question to all of you. do you try trade with indexes? do you like it? what about stocks?

To enter Forex market is so much easy. With little amount you can kick off trading at any place. But the main deal is surviving that is really difficult. Because this market is too much volatile and no one can predict the real faction of this market with surely. so we have to pass a long time in here , if we want to get maximal result from here.

I can assist you open the demo account and offer some sourses that I have!

as a beginner if you want to make profit b y scalping, first of all you have to ensure the lowest trading spreads. devoid of lowest trading spreads that’s not possible at all to make profit by scalping at all in spite of good trading knowledge.

First step for beginners is learning their all concentration should remain on earning even if they are doing real trading. I will recommend micro accounts where their loss will less and learning will valuable with real trading.

All a beginner needs is as follows:
 1 - Education
 2 - Demo account
 3 - Patience


Focus on those 3 things and you will become a pro eventually
