Forex Grid Trader EA [FX Clearing] Diskusia

As you may already know, FX Clearing has been acquired by TusarFX.

Here is their letter they sent to their clients:

'We have great news for all of you.

We are happy to announce that FX Clearing Group Inc. has been acquired by a much bigger brokerage, Tusarfx Inc.. Tusarfx Inc. is a brokerage affiliated with one of the oldest fully regulated banks in the Russian Federation - Tusar Bank (https://www.tusar.ru/eng).

How will this affect you? We have made arrangements with Tusarfx Inc. for our clients to relocate their accounts to Tusarfx. If you take the simple steps outlined in this letter to relocate your account you will be able to trade on the same accounts, with the same passwords and same opened positions, with the same trading terms. Absolutely nothing on your trading account will change for you! Additionally you will get a chance to enjoy perks and benefits that Tusarfx and Tusar bank are going to provide exclusively for the clients of FX Clearing Group Inc. who relocate their accounts.

To relocate your account to Tusarfx you only need to do the following two things:

1. Complete a short transfer notice agreeing with the terms of relocation of your accounts and a Tusarfx trading agreement; and

2. Download the Tusarfx Metatrader4 platform in order to access your trading accounts. Even your password will stay the same.

Following relocation of your account, you will be able to withdraw your funds at any time and deposit them directly through the Tusarfx account in the Tusar Bank.

If, for any reason, you don't want to transfer your account to Tusarfx - no problem, you just need to close all your positions by 7:00 am server time (5:00 am GMT) on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 and withdraw all your funds. After January 9, 2013 all trading operations of FX Clearing Group Inc. will be closed and no trading on the FX|Clearing trading platform will take place.

If you do not close your positions by 7:00 am server time (5:00 am GMT) on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013- we will have to close them all at that time, after which you can withdraw all your funds from your FX Clearing Group Inc. account at any time. Remember, if you have any open positions that are currently losing money and you don't want to close them with a loss you may temporarily relocate your account to Tusarfx until you the positions improve and then withdraw funds from there at any time.

To summarize: If you relocate your account to Tusarfx nothing will change: you will continue trading on the same account and you will continue to communicate with the same customer support personnel who will also be transitioning to Tusarfx. You will also receive the additional benefits outlined above.

FX Clearing - what kind of REAL acc is this? At this broker we cannot trade martingaile at some kind of accounts

I don't know why.. the broker already said 'Grid/Martingale-type EAs are not allowed. Most other EA types are allowed*'. But the broker just fine with this EA.

It is a REAL Micro Cent account. However, our EA is a grid system, not martingale.

i bit of both,gbpusd in range market since the euro crisis started,that helped a lot grid traders ea,but if ever the market comes back to normal cycle someday then i think that any grid traders will be coocked

The current market never will be the same as before, because it is always changing.
There are people out there that hope the GBP/JPY currency pair will be at 250 again (it was that high in 2007)...
Just think about that for a second.

Hi FGT, Im one of your customers of the EA.... I just read you said this in not a martingale but a Grid EA... wich is exactly the difference between mar and grid?

The difference between a martingale EA and a grid EA is the following:

a) A martingale EA always doubles the lot sizes, so with a 0.01 starting lot, it would be 0.02, 0.04, 0.08, 0.16, 0.32, 0.64, 1.28 etc etc...

b) A grid EA increases the lot sizes with a fixed percentage, so the lot sizes would be 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.05, 0.08, 0.12 etc etc.

So, our grid EA is much safer than a martingale EA.

sory but it is not right. Martingaile is not only Double Lot Exponent!!!
i use 1.4-3 mult and i call it martingaile

i think that grid and martingaile have the same logic

and if you think that 1.4 lot exponent can not blow up any depo - it is not right too

by the way 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.05, 0.08, 0.12 - i do not see fixed percentage there
0.01 is 50% from 0.02
0.02 is 30% from 0.03
0.08 is 33.4% from 0.12

50% and 30% and 33.4% is not the same !!! What are you talking about???

You add to watch list automated EA (FxEx1) - it is based on trend Pyramid+Martin only. It can blow up when its open to many orders by HedgeMargin. But it is not blowuping because i test it on broker with HedgeMargin=0 )) Will see)

I will start semiauto trading at real acc soon with new EA - i will let You know.

FGT demo account says HTTP error on both Buy and Sell sides.
EAs are not trading.
I assume the FGT authentication server is down?

While I'm new to FGT, I'm not new to grid traders.
Think the EA is saying your account does not have enough free margin to open the next position or the open size to too big for the Broker mechanics for your account.
