The only one good system is to buy every time a new EA that performs well ans sell an old one that performs bad. Automatic trading is a job like the others, that mean several hours in a week !

I'm glad to see that FBG defenders like Steve finally throw in the towel and call it quits, citing the draw down as too horrific and the author's inability to update the results or comment on the recent draw down.
BTW, the EA has not updated on myfxbook since May 27. Reason: perhaps the author has discontinued the update for fear of revealing any more of horrific DD.
But, as LKHedge has pointed out, there is the new 64% published a forexpeacearmy.
For those wanting to know how it does on a 0.01 basis on a real account that started with $300 on Sept 18, 2011, you can also reference this record: http://www.forexrazor.com/en-us/account.aspx?sid=4274
Looking at the balance graph on that forexrazor account, I see that it dropped from $586 to $330, which is a $256 drop, and because it is using 0.01 lots, that's a 2,560 pip drop, from peak (Feb 26, 2013) to valley (now), in case one wants to know the pip draw down thus far.

I still this EA is a good one. It will no doubt make new highs again in the future. But I fear if way too aggressive money management strategy is used on it that this EA will of cause fail. Another thing which may help this EA to perform better is if we knew the right time to turn it on and off.

Forex Investbot isn't doing any better...

the idea of volatility and break-out isn't bad, but the problem is maybe the profit target calculated on volatility. Since the FGB stays in market for several hours, to days, the effect of volatility fades away. The better idea could be a short term system based on FGB's entry points, like semi-scalper. May be.

They are intentionally not allowing this to update. Their other EA, Forex Invest Bot is current through 6/11, and it is also a dog.

I think their bots based on price action - and its not working so good like last yeasr

Those that started in February have a 9% loss on top of the 40% draw down. 40% draw down is horrible for a non-martingale system.

Also i think that martin is moust Danger and moust profit System
But if i see DD>Profit per month = bad system
Good system when Montly profit > dd * 5
This is what about MArtin systems.
But Forex Grow Bot is Price Action bot and i do not like that because of + and - can Eat 50% profit...old Hystory - just luckied...and authors need do big changes in code because thats not working any more in today market
Good professional trading when -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 +10 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 +10 (many bad but 1 GOOD)
Bad trading whan +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 -10 +1 +1 +1 -10 (BLOW UP) (many good but 1 BAD)

The right time to turn it off might be right at the start.
It is very easy to program such a robot and get such an equity curve. Of course, making profit by using, not selling a robot is an entirely different matter.

yes, but the efficiency of such program can be verified just on the basis of an curve. What else can you evaluate? There was nothing in this program that can be called cheating. A very easy system based on a break-out and volatility combination. In my opinion, the problem was the setting of the pt and sl.

Sometimes it is difficult, but not with this bot. The myfxbook page shows 3 clear evidences of cheating:
- The account was opened with only $250, which hints that it's only one of many live accounts of this robot. The other accounts probably blew.
- You can see from the green volume bars that it's a martingale system. The lots volume always went up after any loss.
- The equity curve went relatively straight up only as long as the robot was not yet public. Afterwards it went randomly up and down with large losses.
There are descriptions on the internet how to program a scam bot and fake a straight upwards equity curve. It's very easy, an EA with only a few lines of code.
