Note how the vendor quietly dropped USDCHF from his live trading in addition to the previously dropped AUDUSD and NZDUSD - otherwise, he would have those today's USDCHF losses on his account too.

Im telling you just trade EURUSD with this and you wont cry so badly. I got creamed today no just with this EA but others but you dont see me running to myfxbook whining because it takes one loss, You have to understand the long term this will happen.

If you look at the above charts, you'll see it has traded per its strategy. However, the greenback's downfall has reversed before the bot could take any profits. This has been periodically happening with this EA in the past and will be happening again. My screenshot rather demonstrates the perils of running this bot on too many pairs.
I wonder how it will trade on the 9th if there's Graccident. Will it rape my broker, so that I will have to request an urgent withdrawal of the full amount before my broker files for bankruptcy?

Based on what is read in this forum, and no answers by the vendor himself, I dont see any interest in anyone wanting to buy this EA...
Its just a headache and too much stress to worry about because the vendor supplies a manual on what pairs to run, but it does not work and he is too afraid to post anything here ...
Rather go here and learn how to trade price action and move on... its all for free and you will make more money...

I have switched this and all my other EAs off for the time being, with the Greece possible default, the markets are going to go into melt down and i cant see any EA that trades on reverses making any money.

Why not make your own system then if you think this one is so bad? Make your own holy grail and you will only be able to become angry at yourself. That way you know exactly what will work and what wont. I guarantee you will not even get close to this system over the long term in its consistency. Lets see any manual trader that has 1:2 risk:reward with >30%DD and earns over 30% return per month! Over 2 years! Slim to none. You guys are confusing what is a bad system with your own lack of patience.

The problem with this EA and most other EAs is they are not able to cope with large market moves, its that simple! any EA trading on reverses is going to get murdered when the market goes mad and starts spiking, the only thing to do when things like this happen is switch the EA off, and don't trade the massive news events. Its always possible that you will get lucky and the EA will trade the right way and make money, but i think in the long term you are better off just not trading them.

In addition to a bunch of closed Friday's losing trades, I have quite a few left open over the weekend, as seen in the screenshot below. As we wait for the Monday opening, let's play a small guessing game as to their eventual fate. Will USD open higher or lower across the board next week, in your opinion? Why do you think so?

btanalysis, you will have your trades closed in profit tomorrow. How do I know? The big USD 15-minute bar which led to the buy signal had a proportionally higher volume than the smaller bar which preceeded it. However, if the big bar had a smaller volume than the preceeding smaller bar (like what happened on January 15 on USDCHF - see my screenshot below), you would be screwed.
A breakout is not a breakout if it's not substantiated by volume. Unfortunately, this EA does not account for the volume of the bar which leads to a trade. I wrote to the vendor about it but that's about as much as I could do.

@btanalysis - Yes, your interest in backtests are viable for what to expect in future. It is just that many commercial vendors curve fit their backtests to 1000+ iterations to post beautiful and very unrealistic results so many people in forex forums no longer trust a backtest, but all in good reason.

High volatility, turnoil and news events are ideal situations for breakout systems. If markets are unpredictable then system does well with the large market moves. Once the market slows down, performance falls quickly from many entries at support/resistance reversals. @btanalysis If you go through the FGB trading history you will understand a lot more than worth debating with traders that run the system.

I would have no problem if I had more settings open to experiment with. Yet the vendor has opened very few basic settings only.
