just switched to Mammoth VPS designed for Pepperstone

I don,t know why pepperstone is giving me different feed or targeting my accounts, mine is different from the result here. with mammoths vps between 1ms to 10ms latency my expert log is full of report of requotes, invalid stops and everything not good. It had a good ave execution time of less than 450 ms now I am having 0ver 2300ms ave execution time.

but your trades are good I lost over 15 percent with pepperstone yesterday that is suppose to be a very good day for mdp, because of this.

I lost 15%, too, but after a massive 20..30% win. It also plays a role that I'm using NumOrders_Level:0, that is, slightly conservative setting.

almost all my trades were lost yesterday, my NUmorder_level has always been Zero. if they continue to manipulate my trades after next week will just have to search for another broker, Their platform is not qualify to be called blunt talk of being a razor.

I had the same problem, but most likely it was temporary.. on friday to anyone who has an account at Pepper had similar problems such as requotes and gaps

it is not temporary, They must be market maker in disguise

Despite the loss after the massive gains earlier on Friday, are you still seeing the Razor have very little slippage on your orders? Also was the Mammoth VPS execution better than the other VPS you were previously using? Thank you for all your insight on this EA and broker experiences.

No, it was horrible. There were even huge slippages (up to 0.00070) and bad performance with Mammoth VPS so far. I hope it will improved.

That is too bad zsfelber...especially since you seemed to have no slippages on your Chicago VPS.

I have run MDP on both an Alpari Pro Live account as well as a FinFX live account. The slippage on FinFx was absolutely awful and Alapri's execution time was much slower than it should have been which resulted in poor order execution.

Do you think your Friday slippage was the result of the Mammoth VPS or just the fast movement in the markets on Friday? Would be surprised if the Chicago VPS would be better than the Mammoth VPS for the Razor account. What do you think?

There is no question MDP is a great EA...the trick is finding the right broker to run it on. Need one that has very fast execution and little to no slippage. Not sure if there is one that exists. I am hopeful that Pepperstone will be the answer based on your experience.

I think it was the result of something happened with Pepperstone rather than Mammoth VPS, becuase i found Slippages sooner than I moved to Mammoth. Slippage period started on Thursday ( 04 august), when i was in Chicago VPS. But there were still Slippages after i moved to Mammoth 1ms VPS supposed to work with Pepperstone Metatrader accounts. It seems due to some broker policy (not market making but some priority queue forwarding liquidity) rather than performance issue. Similar issues reported from another brokers during this period, so i'm waiting out the judgement.

Thank you as always for your transparency and detailed comments. I will be opening live accounts at a few additional ECN brokers (including Pepperstone as well) this week to do some testing as well. I will keep you posted as to my results (i.e. execution, slippage, etc...).

I do hope you are right about what happened on Pepperstone Friday and the slippage you experienced will be a rare occurrence rather than a normal event. Fingers crossed you see great results when the markets open back up for the week.

I did some searching at Forex Peace Army and found that there are negative comments regarding Pepperstone, and all positive results for Think Forex except for 1 comment.

 This MDP EA opens a series of trades, which will usually be 8 if you leave the default settings as is, but because its opening all 8 at one time, there is bound to be some slippage, that cant be avoided. The default slippage setting is set to 3, so you should never see anymore than 3 pips per trade, otherwise the broker is manipulating the trades, which is never a big surprise.

 I will be trading live with Think Forex very shortly and will see what the out come is.

I decreased Lots to handle Slippages, and it helped. So it's a liquidity problem. I wonder if too many customers bought MDP these days, and Pepperstone can't handle that... It's becoming too popular, so i did a wrong idea when published my account ??
