ibfx offers latency time below 300 ms which is very good if using this EA. but i don't like their withdrawal fee and method, too expensive.

I have IBFX in the US and gave me issues on December, it wasnt opening some trades. This month has been good, all trades have been opening and closing correctly, but I still need to keep an eye every now and then.

and yes, I think its 30 the risk of the account they publish.
if the lot is 0.1 and a second trade is opened 30pips later, you'll suffer a lost of 250 + 220 = 470$.
still big. 47% of the account.
a risk of 20 will be 94% of lost

If you bought this EA, you can message the vendor and request the custom version. With it, you can adjust SL to whatever you feel ok with. They recommend at least 100. Mines at 150.
I've been deactivating the EA during major news events, since that really impacts the currencies. You can follow scheduled news on forexfactory.com One of the biggest impacts on EUR is when ECB President Draghi speaks. I disable 1 hour before, until 1 hour after.
The EA seems to trade the Asian session, for the most part. It has opened trades during London/New York sessions, but mostly Asian. News events about the pair usually are not released during the Asian.
In the month and a half using the EA, only 3 times in 15 trades has it had to open a second trade. In all 3 cases, it closed at a total profit, (the profitable trade being more than the looser). It only needs one or two more winning trades to have paid itself off. 😄

The hard inbuild SL is only for security reasons.
They will close the trade before if the chance seems to be lost to get back to win areas.

This is an EA that receives the buy/sell/close signals from the vendor. The EA manages the trade while in progress. I have used a lot of fully automated EA's over the past few years (over 20 EA's). I'm the most comfortable with sPhantom. Seems we have some pretty good traders at the helm. Good job, Guys!

sorry, but I don't see the same trades between the 2 EAs.
on January 7 empire open 9 trades while sphantom opened only 1 and the open price is not close to any of the 9 empire trades.
so why did you say its the same EA?

How good is the trade copier? Can we expect to get almost all the trades and roughly the same number of pips (assuming we are using an ECN broker with low latency) as the vendor?

The trades are not the same. In any case if was like you say it was a great deal: Sphantom cosst 299 USd while Profit Empire (which is agreat roboto) ask 100 Usd x month!!😄
Running only Expert advisors with good long term backtests and nice forward tests

Some here are quick to make assumptions.
It's normal that some EAs open similar transaction on the same pair if they make similar calculations based on M1, M5 and H1. The strength of sPhantom is the news interpretation that goes over it and the fact it avoid trading when the volatility is high.

Although, I would agree that sPhantom becomes monthly payment based at some point for 2 reasons :
1. Avoid to be oversold
2. Keep these guys motivated to offer a high quality product.
I like the fact you are constantly updating your EAs for the price, your drawdown is lower now than at the beginning which is awesome. Keep going Brenton!

Dear @my_ea
I checked they report on FPA and I should say they have their own trading strategy which is not even close to sPhantom. They have started they account on 23/8/2013 while we started on 21/5/2013.
We are working hard to keep the EA on success and we are always ready to to protect our efforts. Please make sure about your thoughts before sharing them on a public forum.
