Raking first, Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages are the most important category in the consumer price index in Bulgaria, with 31.8% of total weight. Housing and Utilities account for 17.4%, Transportation accounts for 9%, Health accounts for 6.6%, Restaurants and Hotels account for 5.4%, and Recreation and Culture account for 5.3%. For the remaining 24.5% of the total weight, there are five categories to consider: Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, Communication, Miscellaneous Goods and Services, Furniture, Household Goods and Maintenance, Clothing, Footwear, and education.
