Greece Markit Manufacturing PMI
Developed on a survey of 350 industrial enterprises, the Markit Greece Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index gauges the performance of the manufacturing sector. The index is comprised of five individual indicators with the following weights: New Orders (30%), Output (25%), Employment (20%), Suppliers Delivery Times (15%), and Stock of Items Purchased (10%), with the Delivery Times index reversed so that it moves in a similar direction to the other indexes. A value greater than 50 indicates that the manufacturing sector has increased in comparison to the previous month, a reading less than 50 indicates that the manufacturing sector has declined, and a reading of 50 shows no change in the manufacturing sector.

German Construction Sector Downturn Deepens
Germany's construction sector shrank further in August largely due to the steep fall in new orders, survey results from S&P Global showed on Thursday. The HCOB construction Purchasing Managers' Index fell to 46.0 in August from July's 29-month high of 46.3.

Eurozone Private Sector Growth At 1-Year High
The euro area private sector expanded at the fastest pace in a year in August but the overall pace was sluggish as the service sector held back growth, final survey data from S&P Global showed on Wednesday. The HCOB composite output index rose to 51.0 in August from 50.9 in July. The score was slightly below the initial estimate of 51.1.

Eurozone Inflation Path Suggests ECB Unlikely To Cut Rates Further
Euro area inflation modestly accelerated to a four-month high, and the core figure was steady around the 2 percent target in August as a slight slowing in both food price growth and services inflation was offset by a smaller decline in energy prices, which suggests that the European Central Bank is set to hold interest rates steady in future policy sessions.
