Ireland Construction PMI
The Ulster Bank Construction Purchasing Managers' Index is a seasonally adjusted index that monitors changes in total construction activity in Ireland. Data is collected at the halfway point of each month, with respondents being asked to compare a range of business situations with the situation one month prior. A number of less than 50.0 implies that the economy is generally contracting, a reading of more than 50.0 implies that the economy is generally increasing, and reading of exactly 50.0 implies that the economy has not changed from the previous month's reading.

Eurozone Private Sector Maintains Expansion
The euro area economy continued to expand in September, with broad-based growth in Germany, Italy and Spain, while France contracted further due to political uncertainty, final survey data from S&P Global revealed on Friday. The final HCOB composite output index rose moderately to 51.2 in September, in line with flash estimate, from 51.0 in the previous month.

Eurozone Jobless Rate Rises Slightly
The euro area unemployment rate rose slightly in August but remained near record lows despite weaker economic activity. The jobless rate climbed marginally to 6.3 percent in August from 6.2 percent in July, Eurostat said Thursday. The rate was forecast to remain unchanged at 6.2 percent.

Eurozone Inflation Accelerates In September
Eurozone inflation accelerated in September as the decline in energy prices slowed amid rising services inflation, reinforcing the expectations that interest rates are set to remain unchanged in the near term.
